Socrates - 10 Sep 2004 17:10 - 13298 of 23498

Did you know that elephants paint their toenails red so that they can hide in cherry trees? It's very effective, I've never spotted one.

optomistic - 10 Sep 2004 17:10 - 13299 of 23498

Gausie, don't remember Urby.

Gausie - 10 Sep 2004 17:35 - 13313 of 23498

opto - he gave up his job, sold his house and became a wannabe daytrader right at the top of the tech boom - had a weekly column in the sunday times (Diary of a daytrader), and had the mickey taken out of him mercilessly on the BBs.

Think he lost something like 50k cash, 50k earnings and 100k capital appreciation on house in the space of a year.

Anyway - point is he now sells drywall stuff.
