it hasn't, shao. back to business. red at the moment , volume quite low, in comparison to the last two weeks. placing is supposed to happen today. i think this is unsettling things a touch.
anyway, just watching the water babies, some wonderful brass band playing going on on the sound track as well as some bad fake northern accents.

hey! nice carrots!!! well said , stockbunny. if you lose the 1, this all looks very familiar, like last year, when seo traded within the 4.5p to 7p band.

Consolidation between 15p and 14.7p roughly?
Looking at the intraday above, that looks promising if only
in the short term but the downhill seems to have subsided for now.
Bosley brought in a heap of do'nuts for you all now must dash
needed in the Coffee House.

Just been catching up on the thread - think I would have preferred the stockbunny's carrots! I'm happy that it is normally balanced: lots of enthusiasts of course but a great many balanced comments. I think it is also understandable that some lon-standing holders get fed up with the cc and B**G being brought up. This really was a problem when the price was down around 5p, the cap 40M and the potential damages were really significant. As I've said before there was a side-benefit in that the sp was held back allowing some of us who were slower on the uptake to get in. With the cap now well over 100M and much good news ahead, the cc is relatively insignificant. I find it annoying myself to see B**G fans having another go: it may be envy; it may be because they don't comprehend the momentum in SEO and the outstanding success of the ASDA trials and the potential resulting contracts; it may be true that cash from SEO will be significant to B**G whereas much less important to SEO; but it doesn't justify uninformed (apparently) comments about "many SEO holders defecting to B**G". Am I meant to be one of those? I haven't sold a single SEO share, real or via CFD. I have reinvested margin from SEO CFDs this week in BPRG, AZM and FDI. My position in SEO is just too large to reinvest more in SEO, although that would probably be the most profitable course. What I didn't like, specifically, about the posts of jgeary and Tristan is that they seemed intentionally to be trying to wind up and to spread their own bit of personal angst: we are better off without it.
A question. Is today's selling a deliberate effort to drive the price down, perhaps timed to coincide with the placed shares going on stream? It appeared to be accepted, e.g. by johngtudor, that there has been a shorting exercise on ASC. I looked at the trading on the days concerned and noted regular sales in round numbers, mostly of 50K shares. Today, I totted up sales of 1.7m shares, not in lumps but spread out, in round quantities from 20K to 100K. The question is whether this is an evil knievel shorting exercise. Can anyone who visits the ADVFN board comment on this? If it is, its an advantage to know because a shorting position has to be closed and I would imagine within the week with the Prelims coming up.

Less of the crap about 'personal poison' please. I thought i'd made my position clear ie. a holder of BOTH (and a believer in the long-term potential of SEO)!I also said last night I'd not post again and see how things pan out instead. If you want to carry this on I'll oblige you, but if not don't presume to have knowledge of my motives.
I'll consider this ended if you do.

Aplogies; I think the pp comment was over the top (I've changed it to 'angst'). However, you can see quite clearly the angst raised by your comments. This was why I was critical. Regarding my own post, I believe this was balanced, except for that one phrase. I am happy to return to a balanced column with balanced comment, even if over-enthusiastic at times.

It strikes me there is a lot of anxiety being expressed by holders or traders in this share.
Sells to buys 3/2
Interesting to watch.

Enough everyone, We are all investors in SEO which has so much promise, we know both the potential massive upside plus the downside of some damages that lurk in the background. This bb should be for all us to discuss our thoughts and apologies if I came across wrong but it is tiresome to keep hearing old news and speculation. If there is any new info whether we like it or not it should be posted however it is sometimes diffcult to assess a balanced view against baiting. Good Luck to all SEO holders and those also with BPRG.

Put the handbags away please, ladies. Seems to me a lot of people have made a lot of money over the last few weeks, so enjoy! SEO has made a massive leap forward recently so you are bound to get the shorters, and peeps trying to buy in at a lower price, coming out of the woodwork. If you have faith in SEO over the long term, like I do, then just take it on the chin and have some down time while the price settles before the next rise!!

Jump lemmings jump so I can top up at a lower price! So much worry at such an expected event. This is a temporary glitch. God forbid that you don't double your money in a week. With all the information at hand it should be obvious that stanelco will eventually get a contract. OK, fine nothing is 100%, but this is as close as it gets without insider information. I'm watching closely and taking this as a chance to top up. 13/14p may even be reached but patience is required. 60 day option granted to ASDA so expect day 59 before an agreement is reached. Nothing this big will be decided overnight.
