Pursuit Dynamics plc is a UK based research and development company, which was founded in 2000 to develop and commercialise a revolutionary pumping and propulsion technology. Pursuit Dynamics (symbol: PDX) was listed on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange in May 2001.
PDX 25 Sonic.
The PDX Technology is a steam-based system that has applications in both pumping and marine propulsion. It is cheap to manufacture, extremely robust, contains no moving parts and is virtually impossible to block. Pursuit Dynamics owns 100% of the Intellectual Property Rights that surround the PDX Technology.
Pursuit Dynamics is now working towards the commercialisation of the technology it has developed.

Pushed to a new 3-month high today. Hopefully there will be news to take it higher later this week.

What do we make of outcome of trial delayed by joint agreement until 30 April.
Price has dived in past 10 mins but with little volume.

This bit of news is that there is now a deal the confectionery manufacturer wants to make and are prepared to pay another 30K for the priviledge of maintaining the exclusivity of it. The deal must be huge!
Great news, but why the sudden drop in price is now down to the MM's opportunity to do some tree shaking! Take no notice and don't let the MM's grind our share price down. Plenty of value in this! Now down fast even now as I type. MM's must be desparate for it!

Going back up again now, have the MM's had a sudden 5 minutes jerk before they realised the significance of the news!

I expect the market had been expecting more definite news today and the announcement, which was really 'no-news' led some to sell pending any real news.

here is the text in full.
-----------------------------
LONDON (AFX) - Pursuit Dynamics PLC said the unnamed confectionery and soft
drinks manufacturer with which it signed a contract permitting the trial use of
its PDX technology, had asked for the testing period to be extended until the
end of next month.
PDX is a pump which can be used to transport fluids with high solids
content.
In November, Pursuit said the trials, for which the confectionery company is
paying 15,000 stg per month, were scheduled to be completed by the end of 2003.
rhb/bam
-------------------------------
My take on this is cautiously positive, based on the fact that the trial is continuing, and, they haven't walked away.
I don't think it's clear if they are continuing to pay the 15,000 per month trial fee, but this isn't important, IMHO.
It does look as though a deal is a strong possibility, as the exclusivety has been preserved, so now it's down to trying to broker an agreement that will allow PDX to convince the market they have a viable product.

the deal has been signed but due to the directors of cdy being away they could not announce the deal, but had to make a statement as the trials ended today. the directors are back next week so look forward to the full terms which i have not been told. the statement says trials have ended but they now have exclusivity, so time to announce the deal, without pdx going to another food or drink company.

This suggests a new application for PDX technology and gives valuable (& free)PR.

Another interesting article where PDX technology for forest fire fighting would prove to be highly effective.

This company may very well be interested in PDX's technology now that its use for fire fighting has been discovered!

Legins,
Good finds, and these articles will certainly help spread the word, coming in publications that are widely read and held in some degree of respect I think.
Given the news was not what we, nor the market wanted this week, I have been reassured by the price holding up, rather than tanking as expected.
I STILL think a deal with the "confectioner" is on the cards, and so do a lot of other people it seems!

And yet another interesting article to read. PDX has named their firefighting version as FireMist. IMHO could see this product taking off very quickly with the firefighting industry particularly in high risk regions because life, natural habitat and property are at threat. With the knowledge now that it is in the public domain stating the benefits in FireMist equipment being able to put fires out far quicker and using less water, these could be deployed and operational in a relatively short period of time.

Adieh,
What kine of business is your company in? (if you can say that is)
Also, are they likely to try and conclude a deal with PDX?
Legins,
Yes I have seen the firefighting version tested at Royston, and it certainly has some promise, and could clearly be very marketable worldwide, as well as having aviation and military possibilities.

Thanks Legins what great "leg work" Kind of you to share that with us. I am often suspicious of the intentions of some research by fellow correspondents but when backed up in the way you have it is very assuring.
