new millennium resources (NML)

LEEWINK - 28 Mar 2004 15:45

NML is due its interrim results now, last year it was the 28th of this month.

They are setting up a new site to explore/research/analyse and all the equipment to do this should be on site now, and drilling should start soon, all this extra news should be covered in the interims.

does anyone have any further positive views on this company ??

ASMITH2 - 26 Sep 2005 13:48 - 1357 of 1909

Is there any hope left for these at 2.25p bid.?Are they worth a punt now..I suspect not as desperate holders will be queing up to sell at the slightest sniff of a carrot.!

Andy - 26 Sep 2005 16:00 - 1358 of 1909

Well without any meaningful positive news, it's hard to see why anyone would want to buy, even at this low price to be honest.

If the company do have something positive to announce, then the price may rise, but that will probably be used by some to exit, so I see any immediate rise as being quite limited.

If NML produce some diamonds, and grades, this may of course change, but to achieve a decent rise, the news will have to be exceptional IMHO.

I personally think some sort of financing must be due soon, as it's a few months since they raised the $500,000, and it can only last foir so long, no matter how frugal you run the company.

Just taken a look at the weather site, and the weather has changed, with rain and thunderstorms predicted for the next few days.

Presumably the company are able to contuinue mining the kimberlite, as they have the necessary infrastructure in place now?

stockdog - 26 Sep 2005 18:52 - 1360 of 1909

If it rains enough, presumably it will save them digging so much - they can just sink to the level of productive kimberlite - lol!

lol!

Sink or swim time then!

nkirkup - 26 Sep 2005 20:06 - 1362 of 1909

They have to raise money to continue operations, issue more shares at 2p each

stringy - 26 Sep 2005 20:07 - 1363 of 1909

There'll soon be a new body of water in Angola then-

'The New Millenium Lake'

-Like the sound of that!

SD, good to see you have a sense of humour in all this!!

This co needs news and fast.

Good luck all.

stringy - 26 Sep 2005 23:51 - 1369 of 1909

"This co needs news and fast."

-Patience dear chap!

Andy - 27 Sep 2005 00:43 - 1370 of 1909

stringy,

Well some have been in since early 2004, so patience is wearing a bit thin in some cases.

In that time NML have missed several deadlines, and the SP has halved, or, for some, worse!

In order to restore some credibility, they need to pull something out of the bag fairly soon IMO.

A reverse takeover may provide an exit for those locked in at higher prices, otherwise a JV is possible, with one of the companies nearby in Angola.

The weather has now turned, and the rainy season is upon NML once again, so we shall have to wait and see if that hampers progress, or whether they have the ability and infrastructure to cope this year.

takahe - 27 Sep 2005 09:03 - 1371 of 1909

legend..agree that this company needs news and that deadlines have been missed. However, it is no worse than some other mining shares which have done equally badly over the last 12 months.eg EPD...much more than halved in the last year..
Needs patience for sure....

Or whether they bother to tell us!

takahe
EPD at least have reported news when they can and recently have been looking quite perky.

stockdog...I hold some EPD! ...

takahe - 27 Sep 2005 11:45 - 1374 of 1909

For those of you who are shareholders here, apparently John Cross is in Angola just now and meetings are being lined up with Endiama and the Angolan Ministry of Mining. Don't know exactly when..or what..

stockdog - 27 Sep 2005 11:51 - 1375 of 1909

takahe - talk of the devil and he takes a dive - EPD not so perky today!
me and my big mouth!
