I have just learned that the LSE charge a fee for each RNS.
Maybe that explains the delay ?
They could be waiting for several things and squeeze them all through in one RNS and save some of our money :-)

Do not think you can deliberately hold back a RNS that could substantially influence sp be it up or down

Not sure about that RH, when the RNS we are expecting is the close statement and it can be issued anytime between end of financial year and x weeks proir to annual report.
I may be wrong (I usually am), but I think that is the position.

I think the position is that you cannot hold back news that might be price sensitive - such as a deal - however - information contained in a close statement - which I think is business as usual - just like announcing final results - can be issued either according to a schedule - or when ready and agreed by the board ??.
Either way - the SEO website says that final results are due in January - assuming that this means 31st January - then if (and they dont have to) they issue a close statement - then I guess that the last possible day would actually be next Tuesday (20th).
From discussions that I have had with SEO - they do plan to issue a close statement - but plans can change.

The last EVO update gave the possible time for the pre-close statement i think.
Does anyone still have a copy from Mastersons mail out?
Stanelco only got a couple of paragraphs but i'm sure a date or timescale was mentioned as being the last possible.

So we are awaiting and wanting an RNS about -
- ASDA's 30 day exclisivity trial for Starpol
- Year End pre-close Statement
- FDA's full approval of Starpol
- ASDA's exclusive contract progress (numbers) for Greenseal convertions
- Frogpack
- Pulsline security labelling
- biodegradable cigarette filter tip auction
- exploitation of more of Biotec's "treasure chest" of IP
- Wallmart
- McDonalds
Not a bad list, no doubt you can think of more. A positive RNS on any one of these would be satisfying - but what about several..... :-))
There really are so much things going on.
For the sake of balance -
- Court case

Jaysus, they are still waiting for an RNS, and one of them now realises you can pay for one.
My advice send the company a tenner each and tell them as shareholders, that you will pay for one -erm something like --
"The company (SEO) are over the moon with the way things are going , those who await a huge rise in the share price via an RNS in future, may or may not be in for a pleasant surprise.
However we guarantee that an RNS will be issued perhaps now, sooner or later, it all depends.
Nonetheless we continue on are huge salaries spending your money as we see fit,
Merry Xmas

About Stanelco plc
The Stanelco Group of companies (the Group) has brought together expertise in radio frequency (RF) technology, RF applications and biodegradable material sciences to create a revolutionary range of packaging technologies.
Stanelcos philosophy is that new products and processes must offer solutions and applications which:
give higher added value,
are greener, more environmentally sustainable than those they replace and
have protectable intellectual property rights.
Stanelco will develop the products and processes to a demonstration stage and then work with partners in order to reach the markets; and under these circumstances Stanelco will usually seek to license its technology. Stanelco invests considerable time and resources in ensuring its technologies are protected via layers of patents wherever possible.
In this way Stanelco believes it can minimise commercial risk and preserve the highest value for shareholders.
The products offering the prospect of near term revenue generation are being given priority over the Groups resources.
Stanelco was founded in 1953 and is a world leader in the development of radio frequency technologies for processing polymers for edible and packaging applications and the design and manufacture of optical fibre technology, induction heating and dielectric welding equipment. Stanelcos current developments include GREENSEAL Food tray lidding technology, STARPOL (starch / pva blended material), STARPOL 2000 (highly functional, low cost biodegradable packaging material with food contact approvals) FrogPack high impact low cost packaging format, CradleWrap range of biodegradable air cushion packaging, Soluble tape, 100% water-soluble films and adhesives, Biodegradable Airbag (void fill) packaging, edible hard-shell capsule technology, water-soluble detergent capsules, edible sachets and waste packing.
