THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

There should be some sort of home they can go to for 9 months ,and the govenment should provide money for you to have a young Swedish op to help around the house.

jimmy, you are full of great ideas today. after 3 pregnacies i learnt:

1. forget about sex
2. cook for yourself
3. put the other kids to bed
4. never compain about ANYTHING
5. forget about sex
6. apologise for no reason - you are bound to be doing something wrong
7. use the immortal line "from the back you would never know you are pregnant"
8. say that at least 70 times a day
9. NEVER NEVER smirk (let alone laugh) at any discomfort she is feeling.
10. stay healthy - there is no sympathy for anything during the pregnancy months

I followed these to the the letter and was still shouted at and pissed her off but it helped!

good luck bos

proptrade, apart from number 3 it's all true for me. i have to say i think jimmy's idea is a cracker. a definate vote winner in my book. i mean it could help so many needy fathers -to-be. young nurses and primary school teachers could then be housed with the fathers-to-be thereby solving the housing crisis, as well as any wandering tall, blonde, shapely , horny, gagging-for-it, young, swedish, student female types. i know there would be 2 empty bedrooms that could accomodate any of the above.....infact i would even share my bed .

anyway, time for poker.
