Priscilla, well i was not really getting on with that last girl, nice that she was it got a little complex - my fault i admit. Had to get rid of her before my sisters wedding - it was for the best. The pooch is now a single mutt once more.

Priscilla - 13 Sep 2004 22:54 - 13609 of 23498

The perfect 'poochette' is out there.....you'll just have to keep looking for a bit longer.

I'm off to try and catch some sleep.

Sweet dreams, Pooch.

brockman - 13 Sep 2004 23:11 - 13610 of 23498

amber
Diamond shining bright this morning. Be nice if Billington bought out Petra for 1 a share

hilary - 14 Sep 2004 08:57 - 13619 of 23498

I've got mixed views on that news, Jeffie. It's saved the company, but it seriously dilutes the Alto C prospects.

Gaps in the chart too. I know what I'd have done at 8am.

jeffmack - 14 Sep 2004 09:13 - 13620 of 23498

Hil
I was on a train at 8:00, but I get your drift

This_is_me - 14 Sep 2004 09:16 - 13621 of 23498

What was wveryone doing last night to cause the jump in MBY?

amberjane - 14 Sep 2004 09:59 - 13622 of 23498

Yes but I wasnt up at 8.00!!!!!!!!!!!Only 2p down since then though, what now ????

hilary - 14 Sep 2004 10:28 - 13623 of 23498

Amber,

I would guess that "what now" depends upon the buyers and the sellers.

Will the buyers consider the longer term prospects and keep coming in? What will make them come in? News is, generally speaking, a catalyst to both buyers and sellers ....... when will there be further news? Will there be a press tip which will prompt fresh buyers? On the other hand, will the bulls start to go stale and look to take profits? What about the look of the chart? And have you put a fundamental value on the stock to determine whether or not it's fairly priced? These are all things to consider.

Why don't you pick up the phone and ring some people in an attempt to answer some of those questions?

Does that help?

hilary - 14 Sep 2004 10:32 - 13624 of 23498

Btw,

You really do need to set your alarm clock a bit earlier if you're serious about this. I'm ready to make my first trades at 7am. I'm nearly finished for the day now.

amberjane - 14 Sep 2004 10:39 - 13625 of 23498

:>)

optomistic - 14 Sep 2004 10:42 - 13626 of 23498

hilary, does the market close at 11.00am :-))

hilary - 14 Sep 2004 10:49 - 13627 of 23498

No Opto, but there are more important things to do like playing tennis and the 3 S's (swimming, saunas and shopping). Why would anyone want to spend the best part of the day in a darkened room looking at a half a dozen screens?
