bhunt1910 - 16 Dec 2005 10:26 - 13758 of 27111

Treble wide - I thought U were going ??

Bema - 16 Dec 2005 10:26 - 13759 of 27111

Would be interested in where these obtained replacement machines have come from as well.
Have Stanelco bought them? I remember they are not cheap.

To me this raises more questions than it answers. I may write off to management again soon. I still think SEO can do it but feel they are further back on the development timescale than i thought.

hewittalan6 - 16 Dec 2005 10:28 - 13760 of 27111

Patience, Bema.
Rome wasn't built in a day. Soweto was built in a day. So was Milton Keynes.
Which would you prefer?
Alan ;-)

Treblewide - 16 Dec 2005 10:31 - 13761 of 27111

bhunt....not me that is going anywhere.......however the s/p sure is taking a dramatic hike south.....could it close below 14p?.....next few weeks through the support at 13p and it is back to single figures where it belongs..

Bema - 16 Dec 2005 10:33 - 13762 of 27111

If you put it that way alan the answers obvious. ;o)

Just an "in-line" comment would have done me.

I hope my questions are seen as genuine. Now i no longer hold i don't want to be seen as a deramper. I still have a "pride" postion having recommended them to a work colleague who has recently bought.

tweenie - 16 Dec 2005 10:36 - 13763 of 27111

I thought i'd misses the boat re topping up again.Personally I'd like to se 14p for sp on the 20th when I get paid. The tree been shaken and the'low lying' investers have fallen by the wayside.
I don't think anythings changed , the long term news is still good.
I also don't think you are allowed to put figures in pre closing statements. So will wait until end jan/feb for update re FDA.
Still happy
lots more jam tomorrow

ASDA must decide if they really want Greenseal. They have to make some concessions like shutting down a machine for a day here and there to get the conversions done. If all suppliers require a 'borrow' of a machine then there is no way in my lifetime that Greenseal will become the standard in ASDA never mind the UK and the world beyond.

Also, whats the point in having all these engineers in the USA if it is going to be the same thing there.

IF Greenseal is that good these guys should be walking over broken glass to convert not putting up barriers. What happens in the next RNS, cannot convert now because its Easter soon...

A resolution for 2006 for SEO should be to only issue RNS's for deals mentioning specific $$$$ and not wishy washy drivvel.

shamona - 16 Dec 2005 10:55 - 13765 of 27111

The conversion was originally muted as being able to be done in a few hours, now their talking about shipping in new machines as replacements!

This sounds to me like a lie, a new machine would be a massive logistical nightmare to bring in and hook to a production line; something that would take many hours on it's own. Surely machines are timetabled to have maintenance downtime as a matter of course?

As for the rest, too many ifs and possibilities for my liking; best avoided and sold for the time being imo.

bhunt1910 - 16 Dec 2005 10:58 - 13766 of 27111

Sham - your advice in the past has been pretty spot on - at least you put reason behind your posts - unlike some others.

shamona - 16 Dec 2005 11:09 - 13767 of 27111

No problem bas, will leave you to it now till next year; can't see any reason to justify the 135 million market cap at the moment so will be steering clear for a while; even the strong sentiment appears to be seriously waning.

All the best chaps.

greekman - 16 Dec 2005 12:31 - 13768 of 27111

For several years during the 70's I worked in the catering trade. In the run up to Xmas ( about 4 weeks before ) we started to work double shifts. Suppiers to stores such as ASDA will be working flat out and can not afford to take even I machine out of commision for even a few hours. If SEO have bought in machines to replace those they are adapting, this can only mean that progress is continuing at a good pace. If progress had slowed then it would make sense to step back over the Xmas period, but no they still carry on with the adaptions.
I repeat why would they bring in machines ( at an obvious expence ) if adaptions had slowed. It would not make sense.

Treblewide - 16 Dec 2005 12:35 - 13769 of 27111

you lot are too worried about replacing a few machines in Asda......what about any future sales? plan to be profitable...cash burn.....actually delievring on any promises they have ever made............who cares about a few clinf fialm wrapping machines in Asda in Bognor?

0859 GMT [Dow Jones] Stanelco (SEO.LN) update is "less specific than we would have liked" regarding Greenseal, says Teather & Greenwood. Suspects retrofit program is now behind plan. Notes company mentions potential of 80 machines out of 200 for the Asda contract. Teather's forecast for 06 is already significantly below consensus and as it relies on completion of Asda contract on time, risk "must be on the downside." Teather isn't changing forecasts at this stage. Still likes Greenseal but wary over delivery. Believes too much potential is being built into valuation too early. Hold rating. Shares -4.5% at 15.875p. (PBA)
