CMS Webview What is the potential for this share ? (CWV)

GEOFFREY.R - 01 Nov 2003 16:46

I bought shares in this company at 4.5p in September 2003. I see they are rising. Can anyone tell me please the growth potential for this company as they have just been awarded several new contracts ?

When is the next statement due?

thestatusquo - 11 Apr 2004 15:16 - 1377 of 1924

No date confirmed as yet, but would expect an announcement soon. An earlier post cited an April results release.

The market is punishing those stocks which lack transparency at the moment, and IMHO CWV has suffered in a general flight to quality.

As a micro-cap, we are depending on 6 monthly trading and earnings updates, as news in-between may be limited.

Private investor interest pushed this stock up aggressively before January and perhaps a trading update may rekindle interest in the stock.

thestatusquo - 13 Apr 2004 12:08 - 1378 of 1924

Tick up this morning.

If results are to be announced in April, then advance notification may come soon.

Given 2 & 3 year earnings forecasts this stock looks very cheap at these levels. If results are strong, and indications look good going forward, the price could move very quickly.

There was a small item in todays Gaurdian

Elsewhere, CSM Webview firmed 0.5p to 11.5p on rumours that the recent ProphetX contract win is already starting to bear fruit, with two European mining companies interested in signing up for the market price display system for energy and commodity traders.

2 days notice?????

thestatusquo - 14 Apr 2004 16:49 - 1382 of 1924

Seems a down day on the market as a whole today.

CEO's staements will be as important as figures on Friday. I hope to get a clearer focus of the bigger picture for this company going forward over the next couple of years.

Any thoughts CWV holders?

Thats good, nothing leaking out.

thestatusquo - 14 Apr 2004 16:56 - 1384 of 1924

It's in the companys' interest that drift in share value doesn't happen, given its ambitious growth plans.

momentum - 14 Apr 2004 17:18 - 1385 of 1924

Drift in share price has been going on for months.IMHO there is a reason for just 1 trading days notice.

beaufort1 - 14 Apr 2004 17:28 - 1386 of 1924

Hard to know what to make of the timing, but my guess would be that they have brought the results forward on their broker's advice because they have news which they are worried is about to leak. NB mention in this morning's Guardian.
We'll have to wait and see whether it's good or bad! Either that or they want to make a major announcement.

beaufort1

Good point

AndrewThomson77 - 14 Apr 2004 18:46 - 1388 of 1924

Maybe the short notice was due to all the staff being too busy dealing with TDI contract signings?

God, I hope I'm right!

Tokyo - 15 Apr 2004 08:29 - 1389 of 1924

I hope your right too, as I had a good feeling on this one, and topped up again this morning.

Tokyo - 15 Apr 2004 09:01 - 1390 of 1924

well up they go!!

Tokyo - 15 Apr 2004 09:09 - 1391 of 1924

this mornings 38717 was a buy

skyhigh - 15 Apr 2004 09:12 - 1392 of 1924

BIG deal ! up 1/2p ? lets not get carried away here. It just brings it back up to where it was a couple of days ago.
I'll be happy when it gets back to 20p + (as per last Autumn)

thestatusquo - 15 Apr 2004 10:49 - 1393 of 1924

Shares Mag rates CWV a hold this morning, but if anything its tips column has taken a cautious outlook on most micro-cap tips.

It seems to be steering a very defensive course ahead.

IMHO, its very much a stockpickers market while we trade sideways overall. Good companies will always come good in the end.

If Corporate Synergy's 05 forecast for earnings of 3pence is even half right, then we are destined for levels higher in the months to come.

Tokyo - 15 Apr 2004 10:53 - 1394 of 1924

what sort of profit figures are we expecting to see tomorrow?

anyone done any calculations?

Tokyo - 15 Apr 2004 10:55 - 1395 of 1924

The good news today is that most of trhe trades are all buys, so no panic selling, most people it seems are expecting good news.
