one wonders why you waste your time moaning about gem overhangs etc when you don't own the shares.
As regards the share price it isn't going to drop below 6p as GEM won't be selling lower than that and if the offer does hit 6p then there will be plenty of buyers after the recent interims and progress.
Perhaps if you owned some shares you would have met Steig at the AGM and heard him saying he had to sell some more, the fact it was only 83k's worth out of 21m is bullish.

Yuff - please enlighten me as to why Steig had to sell - is he that desperate for 5k???

He mentioned he has been given a load of shares for his share in ST and their is a tax benefit to pay.
He did not say how many or when he would be selling.

Cheers Yuff. My point was simply that if his tax liability was in the region of 5k surely he had other money available to pay? To get such a small benefit whilst putting the sp in such jeopardy is not at all helpful. It's not as if the sp has had a good run, what with Gem depression and poor newsflow. My feeling is that it shows what utter contempt Steig has for small investors.

He has 21m shares, whose interest is it in to get the share price higher, if shareholders suffer so does he. He is by far the largest single shareholder, if anyones goal is to get the share price higher I know the one person who would reap the greatest benefit.

Yes Yuff but as the single largest shareholder Steig can also cause the greatest damage simply by giving the impression that he is prepared to sell a few shares to meet various liabilities when the need arises (a family holiday? a house extension? sending little kiddies to private school? .... I could go on). I remain unconvinced. For instance, how much did Steig pay for these shares? Even at 5p he has the equivalent of 1m.

Steig got those shares in return for him selling his stake in ST. He also has got a fairly big tax bill to go with the shares even though he has received no cash.
Personally I think it is irrelevant to focus on his slae as he told a group of us before the agm he needed to sell some shares. I am more interested on how they came to have such a big improvement in the interims and whether it is going to continue and if they will use GEM again.
My conclusion from the AGM is yes & No, which is why I won't be selling.

"the fact it was only 83k's worth out of 21m is bullish." ;-) yeah right
anyway - if the guy wants to sell a few shares its his business (quite literally)

as you know i am a big tad fan ( though thankfully out for now ). whilst i accept most of your comments, be under no illusion that GEM wont sell below a certain price. they dont give a toss about the price, they will sell when they feel like it. a higher price will give less dilution, but on the other hand i am damned sure they are watching for any strenth to sell. until revenue "streams" in, tad holders/investors are between a rock and a hard place imo.

I am talking about the recent drawdown, they won't sell below 6p they won't lose money on shares.
Shorting them before they get them is another matter, but i don't think, from what DL said at the agm, they'll get a chance to do that.

i accept that yuff, but im not a buyer until a LOT of things are sorted out at tad.

Well, as I am holder at present I look at things differently Superrod. Today we have a further sale from Steig. As no-one knows how much he needs to sell the sp will continue to move sideways or down. Do we know whether he needs to sell 1, 2, 3 million or more? No. So the consequent uncertainty is no different from anticipating further GEM drawdowns as far as potential investors are concerned.

Nice to see the quality and quantity of posts increasing here.
As for SW's sells, it is dissapointing but with over 20M under his belt
it is a very small, almost negligable ammount, in percentage terms.
I am more than happy to hold now and will add to my pile as and when funds allow.

ML - I continue to hold but my point was simply that no-one knows how many shares Steig is intending to sell. If it is circa 5m then we are doomed (for the next few months anyway).
