I'm supposed be winding up an investment club, but the market started falling the first day I started selling off the shares, so I had to stop, with only 1/3 sold!

It better start going up soon or I will not be able to sell off all the shares before the final meeting. :-(

If I were you LW I would postpone the final meeting for a couple of months!

LW---I suppose it would depend on whether you were given a free reign to stop selling, if not it could be construed that you were not acting for the group as a whole.
It can be awkward situation, especially where money is concerned.
