Planestation (Ex Wiggins Group plc) (PTG)

Socrates - 10 Jan 2004 10:34

Time now for all us Wiggins watchers to move with the times and start using Planestation, the new company identity. The name Wiggins Group plc has now disappeared from the database at Companies House and Planestation is now listed on the LSE website.

So fellow travellers, forget Wiggins, the name of the game is now PLANESTATION. Lets hope it goes like an express train.

Hmmmmmm,

I would like to buy some more at this price but I still haven't found out what is going on.

Golfclub12 - 23 Feb 2004 12:25 - 140 of 1086

It looks similar to the cybit shares !!! The MMs are in control waiting for you to sell. Not me.........

Why no buyers at 3.66 ?

No good news flow to buy on ?

ajren - 23 Feb 2004 15:41 - 143 of 1086

I think a present price of 5.50 would accurately reflect the position and
good news from there would increase the price. All - in my opinion - bad news/etc
was priced in at 5.50 so there is no reason for a lower price.Opinions welcome ?

Golfclub12 - 23 Feb 2004 15:55 - 144 of 1086

I think the price will make a steady move upwards on financial good news and nothing else. The fact they are expanding at Manston and the race course project which is or will be underway obviously isnt a big neough influence for investors to buy.

Canberra BI6 - 24 Feb 2004 07:49 - 145 of 1086

Once the BIP is in operation, due to come on line Jun/Jul this year then I would certainly expect to witness a rise in the share price. Having the facility would IMHO attract additional Cargo Carriers into MSE.

Another downside : Close of 3.62

My guess - not a fact - is there is a Serious Problem we are not aware of e.g.
a Property sale that fell through/Racecourse planning problem/Cosmos not going
ahead.I do not think BIG money will be made on cargo.I think the Florida
flights should be a goldmine - especially if they do what they hinted at i.e.
use that as a springboard to open up a network of N.American airports.
Any opinions/facts ?

Follow the professional money. 46 mill chasing longer term view, not short term quick buck view. Me...topping up!

apple - 26 Feb 2004 09:10 - 148 of 1086

This was always going to be a long term investment.

The BIP can't be built overnight & the passenger flights are going to take a while to organise even if they get agreement now so we have to wait a couple of years for big profits.

jeffmack - 26 Feb 2004 09:33 - 149 of 1086

A long term hold is a short term trade gone wrong

ajren - 26 Feb 2004 11:04 - 150 of 1086

Down to 3.50
I - with no disrespect - do not think the long term explains the low price.
There has - in my opinion - to be a significant PROBLEM to explain the price
drop from 4.60 Approx to 3.50.What has gone wrong ?

panic selling

ajren - 26 Feb 2004 12:11 - 152 of 1086

Hi Gc 12,

Panic selling ? If so,why are the Institutions and Streetwise buyers not buying huge Tranches at what must be Bargain Prices ?

Perhaps this is the reason.

26/02/04 10:54 Additional Listing RNS

At least it's not too bad.

Possibly good?

Press release : www.uk-wire.com
Any opinions on this event ?

Socrates - 26 Feb 2004 15:12 - 155 of 1086

It is my belief that there is a good prospect of Manston being a very successful cargo airport. Ask yourself this, why did two separate companies apply for planning permission for food processing plants on Manston Business Park and why is Planestation building a BIP?

Doesn't anyone else think that the three events are connected? The food processing plants won't be built on the strength of a whim any more than the BIP will.

catta - 26 Feb 2004 15:43 - 156 of 1086

Well this is very good news for Planestation. EUjet flying out of Manston on the 14 June this year.

ajren - 26 Feb 2004 15:58 - 157 of 1086

Hi Catta,
Good news ??? The shares have only gone up to 3.75
rgds aj
....................
Hi Socrates,
Presume you are correct. Why are the City/Savy Investors not buying the shares
at this price ???

rgds aj

ajren - 26 Feb 2004 16:12 - 158 of 1086

EUjet
City not impressed - only 3.75 @ 20,000,000 V
Also,it says CONDITIONAL agreement.I would like to read the conditions.

What Manston needs is a BIG connection with Florida as that is the ONLY place
Manston is going to make serious money by e.g.building up a North American
network.
