MAGGIE, The MMS are allowed to change the prices they will trade at. Widening the spread and market size as they feel appropriate.

If there are more than one MMS ie 4+ they can't fix the price so easily, if one they have you in their paws.

But the rise is probably due to expectancy of news??? Guess work!

driver - 29 Dec 2005 18:00 - 13904 of 27111

maggiebt4
Last night's closing price wasn't 12.75 It was 14.75 the same as it is now so it hasn't really gone up.75 at all explain that one.

blinger - 29 Dec 2005 21:23 - 13905 of 27111

Explain???

Someone explain to these "experts" how SET`s /mm works , I am tired of explaining it, how they survive is a mystery.

"MM`S playing games, tree shaking, burn shorters burn all the usual bol^X",
change the record lads its a bummer.

maggiebt4 - 29 Dec 2005 22:41 - 13906 of 27111

Blinger I have never claimed to be an 'expert',am simply learning that's why I asked the question in the first place

Driver & Fred, many thanks for info

olivier - 30 Dec 2005 03:59 - 13907 of 27111

JJS - 30 Dec 2005 08:48 - 13908 of 27111

Olivier

I thought it was something to do with the exteded ASDA/Starpol 2000 deal for early January, can anyone else confirm that ?

bosley - 30 Dec 2005 10:11 - 13909 of 27111

blinger,

"change the record lads its a bummer"

blinger - 30 Dec 2005 15:33 - 13910 of 27111

bristlelad - 30 Dec 2005 15:51 - 13911 of 27111

Sharesure - 30 Dec 2005 15:55 - 13912 of 27111

Does anyone know what machines are being sent to the States, as mentioned in SEO's RNS? Are these the same machines as the Mondini machine that SEO are evaluating at their HQ? Presume it would make sense to use the test time for transit if SEO are confident no, or only minor, mods. might be req'd. If so it gives them the ability to get some sales fairly quickly. Just conjecture, but is anyone else better informed?

blinger - 30 Dec 2005 17:30 - 13913 of 27111

For a really good laugh read this, the `Filltheeboots `experts` 2005 year end forecast for this dog-these are the Creme de La Creme of Penny Share investment???, blimey , and they say comedy is dead-lololol!!!!!!!!!

between 20p and 40p 17 [22.97%]
between 40p and 60p 28 [37.84%]

between 80p and 1!! 9 [12.16%]
between 1 and 2.50 1 [1.35%]
over 2.50!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 4 [5.41%]

bhunt1910 - 30 Dec 2005 22:53 - 13914 of 27111

Almost as good as your forecast eh Binger - I am sure you said they would be less than 10p - makes your estimate almost as bad as those above.

HNY

blinger - 31 Dec 2005 09:33 - 13915 of 27111

My last forecast was 12p actually, lets say 20% in error, take a look at the "experts", 75% of them were out by an average of 80p, that is an error of 470%, its a joke.
The above post trying to justify the loonies reveals the truth in new version of the old cliche " lies, damn lies and rampers statistics.
The other truth is that several of those appearing here don their filthyboots, and three eyes, play the fool and generally ramp under different aliases on many other bb`s, a sad reflection.

garyble - 31 Dec 2005 10:32 - 13916 of 27111

Bling Bling,

Firstly, thanks for labelling me an "expert", quite flattering!

You are clutching at straws, and I'm uncertain as to why you apparently bear such a grudge, suffice to say, there are many who believe in this share and few who don't.

For all your effort I wonder how much you've gained from trading this......I'm sure its been fun, rather than say, going long for a year and making ~200%.

Only two possible grey clouds {cc & results}, a pure guess would be that SEO release some significant news specifically timed to counter any negative impact. Also, the impact of the cc & results may even have a positive effect on the sp.

blinger - 31 Dec 2005 12:45 - 13917 of 27111

Clutching at straws-lol.The rising share price may well have gained some people 200% in a year, however from its peak in May it has fallen by -50%, to get back to its top, it has to rise +100%, simple maths.
Trading it up and down with gains of 10% in a week was easy, a better APR than your 200%, and less risky.
I bear no grudges, share prices are ephemeral, I do however object to the ramping multi-alias johnies who flit across the bb`s pretending to be a dozen different people. You can always spot them, as they are ALWAYS "topping up", and never admit to taking profits.
Here is a test-hands up the following "greekman,pond1,and cherryb", oh look only one hand- and he is one of the better ones.

A guid New Year to all honest punters.

bosley - 31 Dec 2005 13:21 - 13918 of 27111

and that was that!! another year over, a new one just around the corner. what a ride this year has been!! a fantastic first six months and then followed by a disappointing six months, but , as mad pad and garyble have rightly pointed out , the sp is a damn sight higher than it was this time last year. so, all in all, things ain't that bad.
personally speaking, the seo ride this year has been thrilling and educational. for me, it has been a wonderful learning experience in the importance of taking profits, stop losses, technical analysis and following trends. (you just cant fight the market!!)
a happy new year to you all.

garyble - 31 Dec 2005 14:23 - 13919 of 27111

Yep, you're absolutely correct, 10% in a week and every week would certainly yield >200% APR, 1410% to be precise, well I never, If I were you, I'd have made 21.2m on SEO this past year alone, and who says its a dog!

I make the assumption that most were in pre-10p as they were certainly on the bb's before me. So although a missed oportunity at 31p, still the potential to far exceed that.

Having reached 31p on pure hype, it is surely reasonable to conslude that it will be revisted with significant revenue etc, etc...

Looks great for 2006, so good fortune to all and Happy New Year.

blinger - 31 Dec 2005 15:12 - 13920 of 27111

erm one week at
+10% would do the trick, thats an APR of +500%, and the cash is freed to trade more shares too, as for your assumption that 30p can be re-attained, so too can 2p, its a dog, which has had its day, and I think you all know it in your heart of hearts.

JJS - 03 Jan 2006 08:57 - 13921 of 27111

Strange tick up today on little volume, is there news coming, or a big order has been placed ?

Anyone heard anything ?

greekman - 03 Jan 2006 10:44 - 13922 of 27111

Don't think so. The whole market is up. Good feeling sentiment.
