Yes Forky, back at work today though. Mountain of paperwork to catch up with. You know what it's like. No peace for the wicked.
Fancy a cuppa?
OK, I'll put the kettle on.

8ball...to be honest was only aware of the forthcoming match yesterday, couldn't find anything about it on web, if I'd had more time would prob. have gone but I reckon it will be mostly the kids playing or is it a serious match?
I'm confident of a win in 2030 assuming we get through Zaeger & Evans in the year 2525* but I'll be 83/84 then and probably be meeting new really good friends every day, if you know what I mean! [Neil Diamond]
I think both Fanta and Gold Dog maybe out here as last night I heard an African say, "Where's that Fanta dog" alas I saw nothing...
Night night all.......lw

Everyone out this a.m. cafe deserted, only cold drinks available, no champagne and I want to celebrate and BUY everyone loads of drink...You'd better all come out here for the Cafe AGM...
Another .5p on PRM and its jackpot time for lw.
Thinks "must keep feet on ground and not let my biggest ever gain go to my noddle". All past mistakes and disasters ATN/SPS/SCO and other losses, all taken out of the equation by this little company.
YIPPEEEEEEEE.....Hope you all have as good a day as me........lw

Soxy, if you see a huge refridgerated truck looking lost direct him to the cafe. Its a chum of mine with 1000 gallons of a new trifle; pawpaw, butternut, mango, coconut and curry flavour. Bought it on the qt with Tone in mind
usual choice of Malts or Cognacs for you.
On another note, news has just been released that this years SA reds and whites will be stunning, they say the best for 25 yrs so don't forget...
2003 Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonays, Pinotage, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz but make sure its NOT from a co-operative, that it is from the Western Cape and that it is 2003. Whites should hit UK within three months, Reds a little longer......lw

Evening all
Nice to see plenty of customers in the cafe today.
LW.. I think I may have sold my PRM a bit to soon.
Still happy with my profit, always leave a bit for the next man, and I could'nt have left it for a nicer guy.
I know you had a lot invested in PRM, I still find it hard to believe how it has risen, with no let up in the last month.
I am not holding much at present but CLM is looking good for a nice profit.

T_i_m,
Do you mean the 2 portfolio transactions? I wouldn't worry too much about them if you are referring to the P's. It's a sets stock anyway. I see that the volume was also up a bit on the 15th ...... I haven't ploughed through all the trades for the day, but why was that? Also 116m on 15/12 ........ was there a seller who went clear or something?
Nice chart with a Golden Cross.
Saint Willie,
Shame about your team but well done with the Prummie. Can't you grow any decent grapes where you live?
:-)

What's this "Golden Cross"? I've heard it mentioned before but can't find a definition anywhere.

Hello Socs,
It's the buy signal generated when the 50 period ma rises through the 200 period ma which in turn must also be rising.
Btw, has Xanthippe been to any decent antiques fairs of late?

Hilary, you are showing distinct signs of a classical education, LOL. Those nuns were clearly not all bad.
Antique fairs are first and last Sundays of the month. Malvern first, Cheltenham last and sometimes the odd special at the NEC. Xanthippe did have a day in London last week, Art Deco exhibition and the Titian Art. She had a great day but ended tired out. That was a day when I was able to watch the market all day, fascinating isn't it? Even without trading it was an education watching the intradays and trades going through.
Just in case you missed it, I ducked out of BULM at 328p. I think I got a reasonable price, at least I'm not downhearted.

Hils, you can't see the grass for vines, they're everywhere.
You can get about 40-60 acres of vines, a manor house plus four or five workers cottages [good and easy for conversion into guests cottages] for between 4-5 million rand @ 13rand =1 and you then have the fabulous manor house to live in personally. They nearly always are at the back of your vines so you look down over them to the mountains beyond. It will have a great pool, braii area, 2 or 3 patios etc etc.
You then own a thriving guest house business, the tourist economy here is unbelieveable and you can rent out the acreage to another farmer, sell your grapes to a co-operative or make your own wine.
Pretty well all farms have their own dams [water resevoir or lake] well stocked with trout etc....
Chateau Willie..... All wine passed by the management....lw
