rather than pick out individual stocks to trade, it can often be worthwhile to trade the indices themselves, especially in times of high volatility.

Shortie :-) - I love watching ASOS and did trade it a couple of times last year - but it is too much of a roller coaster for me.

Right I've scaled back my FTSE shorts and taken a few losses after I realised last night I was running too much risk.. What an idiot.. Not the best start to the year..

Descending triangle on FTSE 5 minute?

If it rallies to 6791 then pulls back to complete a third continuation I might be interested..

S&P back to 1842 resistance, looks like it could break out higher..

Worth noting..
Apple rose more than 1% in thin trade after the chairman of China Mobile Ltd. said the company's deal with Apple will entail broad cooperation between the two. He also said millions of iPhones have already been ordered by customers, signalling strong demand for the device. Apple's Chief Executive Officer Tim Cook said he was "incredibly optimistic" about the outcome of cooperating with the Chinese carrier.
