PTH .... may take you up on that ... better make sure it's dark so i can't be seen hacking up their turf! ..... looks something like a Harry Colt course but in parkland rather than heath .... if so, and judging by its shortish length, almost certainly very subtle and not to be beaten to death ..... East Course at "posh" club is rather like that, with only one par 5

just played today at bendinat in Mallorca - in the rain, what a joke. Hopefully the weather improves soon.

no, i play at Camp De Mar and Bendinat in Mallorca - never neard of those (I go to mainland spain very rarely though)

where abouts? we stay in Andratx/Camp de Mar during the summer but am staying with friends in the port at the moment. Have rarely visited anywhere on the other side of the island. Are you familiar with those courses then?

Good forcast for the weekend , two games booked .

silly but true .... played really well on Wednesday afternoon but could not hole a short putt to save my life ..... decided to have a putting lesson and asked pro to check, inter alia, if the grip was on straight ..... yes, was the answer but the shaft is bent so face now somewhat shut (unlike mine)! .... have sent it away for a new shaft and bought new in the interim ..... have practiced with it for an hour or two, so fingers crossed for tomorrow's medal .... will prob now putt well and carve every drive instead!

Hit the ball well sat but finished 4 down . sun finished 3 over handicap . 0.1 back for each round .

Has anyone played at Meyrick Park in Bournemouth? I've got three rounds there this weekend!!

flip .... when r we going to golf? ..... played first round of Gruesomes (Mixed 4somes) the other day .... haven't played with a woman in that respect for many a long year! .... really good n tight game ..... 3 up after 12 and then lost 4 on the trot but sneaked back last 2 holes inc birdie at the last ..... phew!

no golf for me this w/e ...... picking up the pieces of Number Two Son on Sunday as he is in London Marathon .... silly bugger!

Anybody ever played at Machynys Peninsula Golf Club in South Wales???........one word...FANTASTIC (*****)!!!!

3 other fab courses close(ish) by are;- THE Gower(*****), Glyn Abbey(***), and Peterstones Lakes(****) near Newport.......and No, I dont live in south wales but well worth a visit.
