Please help me by giving me names of companies they know and if they think
they are worth buying.Thank you.

ajren, I have only been using this site for a few weeks and I have also been thinking about the unnescessary language used by some people. The headmaster at my school said if you have to use that language it is because you do not know the correct words for the situation.

aj - As a high risk/reward trader, what are your views of Hilary's list and which ones do you think have potential?

Hi,
His list vanished.Strange?
My portfolio includes Wiggins at 4.75.I think Edmond Jackson is not the best
However,he bought at 2.50.
.......
I am presently looking at others -- now to include Coffee House.
Little time but will let you know next week.Howevever,I - like everyone -
makes mistakes e.g.I sold Corus at 42 per cent profit - after MONTHS of
research-instead of 700 per cent profit.I-stupidly-exited because of an
absolutely terrible S and P : WWW.STANDARDPOOR.COM :report.

There are many women - and perhaps their children-reading this site.
Does Mega Bucks language -bloody--CRAP represent most/all of the people on this
site or is it just confined to the type of company he keeps....down the pub?
Well, we wouldn't want all those easily-shocked women reading this site would we? It would completely lower the tone of the place to let them in - next thing you know, the lower orders will be reading the site as well.
I suggest people re-read my 3 lines i.e.list of companies and--worth buying.
I just want e.g.xplc and do they think it is worth buying.
I suspect many people think it's a wind-up - an alleged professional trader who can't find a list of low-priced shares on his own, and asking for buy recommendations as well? Comes across as very dubious to me, especially given the "old buffer" tone of the later messages. These suspicions may of course be completely false, but it just doesn't ring true for me.

ajren,
Sorry I wouldn't have a clue. I haven't looked at the list and only pasted it up because it took me about 2 minutes to generate and I thought that it might help.
If I was actually going to buy anything on that list it would have to be one that was going up.

ajren, to be honest there's quite a bit of aggression coming from you on this thread.
On the language issue, one of the problems with the internet is that we all tend to imagine that other people who post to these boards are more or less the same type of person as us, since we don't get the normal clues from hearing them speak, seeing them, etc. Actually you will find people here from all walks of life, very poor, very rich, well behaved, badly behaved, etc. As a result the way they write may well be different from yours. You would not be surprised to hear filthy language if you went down to a pub in a rough area. It's a moderated board so the worst excesses will be removed, but you will still find variety in the language. I do agree with you by the way about the language being unnecessary, I'm just trying to present the realistic side.
As for hilary, I think that what she was actually saying is that she thinks you should ensure that any share you buy has a chart that already looks as though it's going up. It sounds like a self-evident truth but in fact many many people buy shares that are going down, hoping they will happen to turn around just after they buy. BTW she's a competent trader so listen to her.

Quotes from ajren (professional day trader - cough)
"I would like to see the standard of this site become logical/businesslike
as distinct from emotional nonsense which often includes typical LAGER LOUT
language."
"Hilary,
Are you incapable of being a BUSINESSPERSON?
.....it would have to be the one that was going up.
Why do you have so much AGGRESSION/NEGATIVE EMOTIONS?I suggest you see a
psychologist?"
You are just perpetuating the sort of thread that you 'claim' you are trying to avoid. why do you insult and abuse the people contributing to this thread. Just because you started it, doesn't mean that you can moderate it.
Hilary stated that she would only buy a share that was going up - NOT 'THE one' that was going up. Don't misquote people if you are going to take their comments and pick them apart. Perhaps she meant she would only take a long position.
If you were a professional day trader, I would expect better business language from yourself.
.... and no, I don't have any feedback for you regarding shares < 3.5p

-- ajren,
re: REF ZZAXX99.Your 1st paragraph shows emotional nonsense and an inferiority complex e.g.women,lower orders. You represent exactly the type of person I am complaining about---PLEASE be a businessperson and leave your emotions elsewhere.
May I introduce you to the concept called "irony" - I suggest you re-read my previous message in that light.
I am absolutely convinced now that either this a wind-up, or you are a humourless idiot (though of course a "professional day trader", I'm sure. There, you see, that was irony again. Did you catch it this time?)
I REQUESTED a list - less than 3.5-worth buying.Do you want to say
anything about this?
Yes, find it yourself, you lazy git! As before, I don't believe a "professional day trader" is incapable of finding this information (for example, it would take about 5 seconds in Sharescope). And, it's a spurious question anyway - the price of the share is totally irrelevant unless you know (a) the number of shares in issue, (b) the fundamentals and/or TA of the share
