(see example below) The Game will last 10 weeks. The team with the biggest profit after 10 weeks wins the game. Team members should email each other or post on this thread their investment ideas for the Team captain. The Team Captain must make the final investment decisions. Teams can only invest and not go short. Buying at offer and selling at bid price. Dividend payments will not be included. The game is based solely on the price of a share. There is a maximum of 10 players per Team. Game starts 30th July, Team Captains should post first investments choices before 6pm Sunday 1st August. This Game is only a bit of fun and Golddog reserves the right to do what he likes (mutley snigger) Eligible players from GD's Tea rooms have already been placed into teams, if you do not wish to play then you can either tell me or just become a silent member of the team. Or you may request transfer to another team. If you would like to play along then please post which team you would like to be placed in. (anyone may join in). The girls team is for girls only. Hi Stockbunny, I guess my post above may have 'frightened' you to my trading skills (well you're right!) but I was only jesting, realllly. LW was a little tentative about even having time to play, hence I've taken over FTSE game, but although I havent broken her legs yet (previous joke) I may have to twist her arm. As LW is so busy I would like to second yourself or Hilary as Captain but does anyone want to volunteer? That'll make it easier for us to know who wants to do it. R we going to swap emails to discuss our investment choices?

No the bunny is sadly too busy with the tea-rooms to take this job on

sorry girls, but I'm very unreliable (forgetful too) at the moment. I can just
about remember to occassionly make a trade and not much else nowadays.....
No time to post properly, just occassionly catch up on reading the odd thread.
(I've hardly had time to visit the traders room in the last few weeks :-( )

Little Woman this is not like you, you have always been reliable and on the ball. I am sure that if you need help some of the girls would be only too pleased to assist, even if it is by email or t/phone. I know that you would only need to ask. All the best

I'm sure Hilary would make a great Team Captain (especially in high-heeled shoes)

Remember that the job of Team Captain is not really that difficult, there only responsibility is to post their teams stock selections in the first weekend of the game, and then make any trades if any?(one per weekend) for the remaining 9 weeks.


poochies game tips:

Each active team player could have a share of the million fund to put into their choice of stock which they then give to TC.

A team could invest all funds into just 1 or 2 stocks, or a few favs.

you could save some of the funds for a future hot stock.

there is only 10 weeks in the game so choosing a penny share with a large spread might be a no no!

gausie, i suppose it's something blindingly obvious that i have missed out in the rules and you will be laughing all the way to the poochie bank. Well bring it on my friend it's only a game. although please note in the rules that Golddog does have a right to do what he likes. :-)
