* Eurocopter flight trials successfully completed
* Additional German & US military purchases

SCOTTY Group plc, announces today that Eurocopter Deutschland ("Eurocopter"),
part of the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company ("EADS"), has
confirmed that the official flight trials of its military helicopters which
contain SCOTTY's CH 53 SATCOM Mission equipment have passed successfully.

During the trials, the equipment was demonstrated to officials from the German
Army. SCOTTY has received positive feedback from the Ministry officials that
attended and can confirm that the project now enters a new phase in which every
effort is being made to speed up the procurement process necessary to finalise
the project and implement delivery.

In order to fund the additional working capital and costs incurred during the 6
week delay to the flight trials for the CH 53 programme, SCOTTY has secured a
convertible loan of #400,000 through a new facility provided by Headstart, with
the possibility for another #400,000 above that. SCOTTY's directors believe that
this facility could be repaid within the 60-day term of the loan if the delivery
programme with Eurocopter proceeds as they anticipate.

In addition to the Eurocopter project, SCOTTY expects to receive over #2 million
before the calendar year-end from the implementation and delivery of a number of
orders previously announced.

These also include the delivery of Euro720,000 worth of equipment including SCOTTY
Mobile Systems, SATCOM equipment and Telemedicine units to the German army in
this quarter. In addition, SCOTTY confirms that the US Army has deployed three
disaster co-ordination teams equipped with SCOTTY's video teleconferencing
equipment to the Gulf Coast states, which were affected by Hurricane Katrina.

Chief of Staff for the First U.S. Army, Col. James Hickey said: "Satellite
communications are often critical in a hurricane's aftermath. One of the things
we learned last year with the series of hurricanes that passed through Florida
was the need for satellite communications,"

"This storm will likely take out some key communications nodes, and cell phones
and landlines may not work for some time," he added.

No announcements and we are now PAST year end!!!!
This happens time and time again. It happened with Motion Media and its still happening with Scotty.
Next thing, they'll be running out of money and there will be another issue of shares!!!
If no news within the next 10 days then I'm selling!!!

Have you held for long?

Looking at my dealing history, I paid 140p, (yes that's one POUND 40 pence!) for MMD in June 2000, and sold 9 months later for a loss, over which time the price had reached 180p!

That lesson taught me to respect stop losses, and I still ocassionally do!

I have held for around two years having bought MMD at 6p, 16p and 12p respectively.
I truly believed that the "telehealth" idea would be a big hitter back then and continued to buy MMD on thoughts that Police, Health Services and Security would all adopt the phones at some point in time.
Now, I'm not sure.
It seems that these ideas have been put on the back burner whilst Scotty focus on Defence contracts and I'm no longer certain that this is where the money is.
Surely an update from Scotty is the least we deserve?

Latest news direct from Scotty's PR company is that the Finals are being signed off by Deloitte and will be released this morning - hopefully, along with some updates on contract progress and cash receipts/financing. Just to make it clear, the latter is my hopes, not something the PR company said.

I agree, the Telehealth looks a decent prospect to me, and one that could actually financially benefit the people and healty sevices that take it up, whereas the military contracts seem to be taking forever.

ah.....ha..... rumour mill, scotty has got the 48mil contract next week we are going to fly and fly high, will be number 1 riser on monday, then will move all this to MRP for the next bagging

The company has a market capitalisation of 11m, and the contract is thought to be worth 48bn (32.5bn). Traders said the company's small market capitalisation is the result of a hangover from the dot.com bubble, when the company was known as Motion Media.
