new millennium resources (NML)

LEEWINK - 28 Mar 2004 15:45

NML is due its interrim results now, last year it was the 28th of this month.

They are setting up a new site to explore/research/analyse and all the equipment to do this should be on site now, and drilling should start soon, all this extra news should be covered in the interims.

does anyone have any further positive views on this company ??

takahe - 04 Oct 2005 13:03 - 1403 of 1909

Andy..just based on what you have said a few times..that you wouldn't buy them, even at this level.
My average is quite low, now, actually ...

Andy - 04 Oct 2005 15:58 - 1404 of 1909

takahe,

My positions change on a daily basis, but in this case you're right, I wouldn't, as I would like to see some tangible evidence that they can achieve what they say they can.

If that were to happen, my view would change.

I'm pleased your average is low because I remember you saying you bought above 6p.

Someone just sold 500,000

aldwickk - 04 Oct 2005 16:35 - 1405 of 1909

It was a T trade.

may - 04 Oct 2005 17:03 - 1406 of 1909

Someone just bought 1 million
a T trade too...
trying to read trades, is sometimes
a bit like trying to read T leaves, imho

stockdog - 04 Oct 2005 17:25 - 1407 of 1909

By T-leaves do you mean the MMs, my old china? lol!

Andy - 04 Oct 2005 17:42 - 1408 of 1909

aldwick,

T as in protected, it was a sell.

The following 1,000,000 T trade was a buy.

stringy - 04 Oct 2005 18:05 - 1409 of 1909

1,000,000?

Someones more optimistic than me. Or just considerably richer........quite likely!

stockdog - 04 Oct 2005 18:38 - 1410 of 1909

Now, considerably poorer??

stringy - 04 Oct 2005 19:26 - 1411 of 1909

I think I know who the buyer is.

He's always been down on NML until today. Has had a contact inform him that there's a lot of activity around NML's alluvials. He's taken that to mean that the new equipment has arrived and has made the purchase on the back of this.

(AD-FN poster)

takahe - 04 Oct 2005 20:37 - 1412 of 1909

Andy..I do have some above 6p..you are quite right...I have some (not many) above 8p! Agincourt has some at over 9p. I have a lot at below 3p, however.

Andy - 04 Oct 2005 20:40 - 1413 of 1909

stringy,

A poster called 'bartyboy' claimed the 1 million buy.

There seems to be a concerted effort to talk NML up over the other side today, which started before the big buy.

I am careful to buy on the back of such rumours, it can simply be bigger boys trying to get out.

takahe - 04 Oct 2005 20:46 - 1414 of 1909

stringy...no..that is not correct. GayBriefs post on ADVFN doesn't even make sense, if you read it carefully.
The 1 million buyer is someone some of us know from Petrel. He has this week bought into AFD and NML and back into NBR. He is a bigger player than most of us!

takahe - 04 Oct 2005 20:49 - 1415 of 1909

Andy..I think it was flintsurfer who started the rumour about news this week. I'll believe things when I see them by RNS. It is 3 months since the last news so I think people are expecting that there SHOULD be news soon.

aldwickk - 04 Oct 2005 20:50 - 1416 of 1909

Are you going to tell us who he is then, TFC maybe ?

takahe - 04 Oct 2005 20:51 - 1417 of 1909

TFC?

stringy - 04 Oct 2005 21:42 - 1418 of 1909

Thanks takahe,

I stand corrected. What an amazing memory I have!

Dynamite - 04 Oct 2005 22:13 - 1419 of 1909

The French Connection was slagging NML off the other day so I don't think it was him...he said he was shorting it...to which I said there was no point and told him to clear off!!

takahe - 04 Oct 2005 23:09 - 1420 of 1909

I don't think you can short NML..it's too small..
It was defo Bartyboy who bought the 1 million. He is diversifying from PET, I think

Andy - 04 Oct 2005 23:42 - 1421 of 1909

takahe,

correct, and to be quite honest, nobody in their right mind would short NML at this price, one good RNS and you would be buried.

I think you are right to await an RNS, and certainly one is due, and they should have had the time to transport the equipment from SA by now I would have thought.

Anticpation is certainly growing.

stringy - 05 Oct 2005 00:15 - 1422 of 1909

Just hope they can get the alluvial diamonds out and to market soon to avoid the need for any dilution.
