Morning Driver,

Have been weighing up whether to offer my two-penn'orth for some time. Anyway, for what it's worth (approx one cup of tea and two digestive biscuits at international spot prices):

VOG - drilling news expected this month and next month from three well-sites.

Over the medium term, NOP both on NAV and forthcoming production grounds - current SP dip seems to be a good buying opportunity.

And if you're feeling wild, BLR - expecting to announce first production in Colombia some time in May, plus news of other drilling later in the year, although the Colombia news could be anywhere between pretty much indifferent and really rather exciting.

Enough said - the info's on the threads plus all the usual places and I know you'll DYOR.

PS my strategy inclines towards medium-term buy-and-hold. Day-traders may beg to differ on some issues.

Thanks for your first post I do have it from good authority that thousands read this thread but are afraid to post in fear that their tips go tits up but as you say DYO and theres no problem.
I do like the look of your BLR very small M/Cap I may have a closer look.

Your EPY and BTX I like them and I would go in funds permitting.

For a touch of uninformed ramping / tipping how about XLT.
This company has done things the opposite way. Instead of finding a novel technology and then seeking to commercialise and find a use for it, they look for an area that needs new technology, source the technology to fit and then build a management team aimed at the market and technology they will be using.
Perhaps a touch overpriced at the moment but forecasts of good deals in the pipeline for this summer.

Thanks for the feedback, Driver. BLR is certainly very interesting - indeed, I think it could turn out to be one of the big surprises of the next 18 months, but it is certainly not for the nervous or widows and orphans.

some big buys going through for SFT today -so I've added to my holding could be a multi bagger according to lemming investor.

A few people fancy SFT, Moneyplus- the Independent saw a very bright future for this a week or so ago. I'm not in it myself as I have other priorities but the opinion surrouding this one seems good.

Actually, I've just looked at the chart - impressive!

Voller Energy - looking like it's seriously going to K some A in fuel cells. Current market cap only 14 mil. Compare Ceres Power, 180 mil. interesting stuff on the thread.

Tipped in Shares Mag 13-19 April 2006. I got in today with a small buy - wish I'd thought about it more seriously a month ago!!

Bought some more HML today as the volume has massively increased over the last days of last week and this--I have a feeling the contact deal will come soon with a nice lift in the sp. anyone else noticed?

Also bought EOG IAM and some KCOM results are good on the first two and I feel another T/o attempt may come along soon for kcom.

I just had a look at KCOM I sold them at about 70p a couple of years ago it looks like it was the right call then looking at the chart.

definitely the right call-but the results are on 25 may and there maybe another T/o offer coming. only bought a few mind-I'm not that confident!!

driver I do hope you picked up a few EPY to make up some losses on MDY. I've doubled so far but not sold as I'm certain this may be the next multu bagger-on advn they say it'll be the chinese Paypoint and I sold that one far too early! good trading update today and now can't buy large chunks online. BTX SFT EBT and EPE are all going to do well but have not gone up as quickly as epy. Took profits on CHNS although again it's going to go on up but I only had 2500 shares so it has to go up quite a lot to make much. my ofex chinese holdings are very boring!! I know goldfinger likes ofex but there's very little action over there.

No Im not on epy Im on oil at the moment goo, fto gtl dnx plus about ten other stocks but I think the oils will come good this year unless seo can pull some think out of the bag as well as pcm of cause.

agree with you on both GOO and GTL ..... don't know the other two

sold FTO as it was so dull but should do well in the end-same with GOO but I think I was too hasty there! dnx is too expensive for me now but gtl I like the look of. reduced my SEO again got bored but I won't get bored with PCM!!
