Everyone out at the meeting of the canine defence league at the offices of Huntingdon Life Sciences (kindly granted)?

jeffmack - 21 May 2003 21:18 - 1415 of 23498

Dont mention HLS to me. We have them protesting outside my bank at least twice a week. The noisy buggers should get a job. They seem to think that one of our subsidiaries experimented on monkeys. Probably protesting because they didnt dress them properly like the PG tips chimps.

Which reminds me .....What is Michael Jacksons favourite song

........I'm forever blowing bubbles!

Hello!

jeffers
If the minx was around I'm sure she'd pose the question "Is the chimps brew the one that you serve at the Bank?"

Not sure if MJ wears claret & blue but sure he likes going down...lol

I'm still here. I'm actually working, doing some system testing with my NY buddies.

Edit: I am at home though

Socrates - 21 May 2003 22:49 - 1422 of 23498

Poor old Jeff, unpaid overtime at home too. It's a hard life for a banker.

hilary - 22 May 2003 07:17 - 1423 of 23498

Fixing a leak in the tea urn, Jeff?

little willie - 22 May 2003 08:29 - 1424 of 23498

Morning all,
Hils..I see you're up and about; I've been meaning to ask how you are nowadays.
Has the leg recovered completely and you're able to kick J as per usual and recommence your old swimming regime @ 6am everyday.
Will you be able to return to the piste or is that all history now.

Let me know as I feel pretty bad about not enquiring before as, joking apart,
I know you had a lousy time and I've been pretty full of myself of late
and 'aint to proud of it.

Soc.. It must be hard on the millwall man 'cos every six months my head man from the bank changed. What was noticeable was that like the old bill they were getting younger; where does that leave Jeff??
Something needs to be done, what about telling Red Ken and getting a march organised in the City? You could represent Glos and we could all march from the cafe with the girls leading, of course......lw

hilary - 22 May 2003 08:56 - 1425 of 23498

Hello lw,

That's sweet of you to enquire.

The leg's a lot better now thanks, but every now and then it sort of pulls and I collapse in a heap on the floor. Swimming helps and I'm now doing 2.5km every day (alternate lengths breast stroke/crawl) although I tend to shuffle the times around (I'm off for a swim and sauna a bit later today).

As for the skiing, I don't intend to stop although I'll need to wear a support from now on. Despite the accident, we didn't let it ruin the fun. It was a shame because my son who's 10 is now quite tasty on a pair of skis and we have a lot of fun together as a family if you understand what I mean.

Send me an e-mail (I haven't got your new SA address) telling me all about Paarl and I'll keep in touch.

xxx.

edit: I no longer use the Tiscali a/c. Have you got my Pipex address?

This_is_me - 22 May 2003 09:43 - 1426 of 23498

Hilary your leg still needs plenty of massage - hop up onto one of the tables and we will take turns, Me first!

jeffmack - 22 May 2003 10:52 - 1427 of 23498

LW
You are right, doesn't seem to be many over 50's in the city these days, although I am not there yet. City getting very quiet, think there have been a lot of lay offs recently. Trains are less packed and so are the pubs.

A nice big pay off in the next couple of years would be very welcome, unless you can find me one of your multi baggers like PRM.

This_is_me - 22 May 2003 11:28 - 1428 of 23498

That is terrible about the trains. We should have a congestion charge of 100 for the whole of London and make season tickets tax allowable - that should pack the trains and see Me shares in SGC soar!

hilary - 23 May 2003 09:14 - 1429 of 23498

Jeff,

Hope you reversed yesterday.

edit: If they break 129.5 they could do a Prummie.

jeffmack - 23 May 2003 12:29 - 1430 of 23498

Morning Hil
Only one position open, short UKX at 4007. I feel we might visit the 3700 range next week. Not at work today so if you want game updated send it on home address.

Jeff

hilary - 23 May 2003 15:29 - 1431 of 23498

Jeff,

Thanks. You have mail.

Socrates - 24 May 2003 10:45 - 1432 of 23498

Have a great BH weekend everyone. I will be hovering around the cafe most of the weekend so if anyone wants anything, just post. I may not be in evidence, but I will be watching.

Now, where is that teapot?

jeffmack - 24 May 2003 11:02 - 1433 of 23498
