On second thoughts that was probably just a rollover.

Well - it does not look like an ooc was reached - shame for both sides I think.
I really do not think that the cc will have a material bearing on the sp of either company as I am sure it has already been factored into the price. Once this distraction is out of the way, both companies can focus on what they are good at and hopefully we will all enjoy the fruits of their labours.
Fingers crossed for all
Yes I agree Alan - a rollover

Long Term - 1 + - but not for another couple of years or so
Why? - does it sound like I am ramping - apologies if I am - just fascinated by what is going on - all of which was opposite wo what I expected

No, not at all. Just wondered what your price target was. I'm also pleasantly surprised by the trades going through this morning. Do you have any further details on how the cc will proceed from here?

No I am afraid I am not an expert on these things. There has been quite a lot of discussion on the cc on the ADVFN thread - but also quite a lot of stupid comment. Might be worth a visit there to get more background.
Just borrrowd this from a poster over there
"the litigation relates to events which took place in the late nineteen nineties, and and centres on the entitlement to three families of patents, the court originally found that ONE of the families belonged to BPRG, and Two of the families were found to belong to SEO, , However in the light of further evidence that has been identified since the original hearing, and on the basis of legal advice recieved, stanelco believes that it will be able to continue to pursue this area of technology. stanelco seeks leave to appeal."
It could all be over today - or it could take days - and apparantly an oocs could occur at any stage in the proceedings right up2 to final judgement

For what its worth, I don't have a clue what price target I am aiming at! This is a very unusual situaution for me and I realise that it gives loads of ammo to our resident Lord Haw-Haw. The reason is, I consider it a blue sky investment. Putting a value on it is a tremendously difficult thing to do, when the potential is for anything between a few machines in Asda, and nothing else, or a name to rival Tetrapak!!
This means I am just holding, watching and continually reassessing the potential worth. I am no ramper, and accept that it is a risky investment, but the upside is huge, so thats the odds fixed.
I am investing more on a timescale basis of about 4-5 years, but with a stop loss in place and a keen eye on developments.
BTW, as it stands I do agree with Baza refernce 1+, but not for a couple of years. 5 years COULD see considerably more.

Hi. Thanks for your posts. I just wondered as I've never come across a stock deramped as fiercely as SEO. I've given up on ADVFN - there were posts there yesterday that claimed the sp would be below 12p today. Aargh...some people need to get a life!

Alan,
Re your post of 1246hrs today. Very sensible outlook, well said.
As to ADVFN, I have given up on that site as it is full ( almost ) of children, slagging each other off.
Don't usually try to predict a price but,my own slant on the CC outcome for what it's worth,is that if SEO have to pay damages of 1 to 2 mill, the sp will hardly be effected. If more than 2 mill the sp will float down wards respectively.
If SEO win the appeal I expect a rise of about 2 to 3p in the short term.

1m trade in at 16.30. Marked as buy. Do you think this is right? If so, what confidence...

And accompanied by a 1,750,000 trade at same price marked on my system as a sell. Any thoughts?

Both trades are marked as O trades so they shouldn't be delayed in reporting at all.
The 1.75 million was part of the auction, so God alone knows what that might be.
Tomorrow morning might tell us, if the price opens up or down.
No doubt the enlightened SEO shafters who encourage us to short will have their explanation for these trades as some kind of devious plot by the other shorters to make even more money from us.
I give up.

There can be no doubt that there are several persons at least who have followed this case within the court today.
With the large buys of SEO that have come through and a closing price of .25p up. ( BPRG negative volume and a closing price of .25p down ) this presumably means that the result at the present level of proceedings looks like an outcome that may benefit SEO without having a serious effect on BPRG. As has been said many times, when this CC is over both companies can concentrate on the future. The next few days will tell.
No doubt from now till next am, there will be several persons who will state they have been in court today and that SEO/BPRG are the outright winners.
The truth is no one knows.

other sells were lower than 16p just before.
