Oh...cheers Joe Say......it is time the Gunners won something otherwise I fear AW will get the chop !....but that game just shows how poor the defensive play is in this country...

Stan - 31 Oct 2012 08:02 - 1427 of 6918

"....but that game just shows how poor the defensive play is in this country..." Will people stop going on about defenses around here.. Some of us are rather sensitive about such things -):

Stan - 31 Oct 2012 08:15 - 1430 of 6918

It's easy enough getting into some of our colonies Skinny.. but not so getting out -):

Got a bit of a shock on my return, pleasant in ways but it has needed time to attend to.

"No way should a good side let in five goals....it should not happen"

Chelsea seem to have a habit of shooting themselves in boh feet.

No idea if Clattenberg is guilty of the alleged comments, if proven true he will no doubt receive the appropriate sanctions. But it's clear referees are subjected to abuse from players during matches, which in the good old days was regarded as dissent and the player booked. Now it seems to be accepted and ignored. (I'm afraid to say). So from where I'm sitting the Chelsea claim is very much pot calling kettle and smacks of sour grapes. I doubt they will be getting any favours from the rest of the Premiership refs that's for sure.

I thought the decision to send off Ivanovic was 100% correct. I couldn't see how he could be sure Torres dived, so to book him was probably wrong. Mind you, Torres should have received a red card for the assault on Cleverly. As for the winning goal, offside, but Clattenberg had to rely on the assistant so couldn't be blamed for that.

All in all, another mess that Chelsea are once again at the centre of.

Dil - 01 Nov 2012 01:16 - 1433 of 6918

Chelski players falling over for sweet fa has been part of their game for years , tough bloody crap if it's come back to bite them for once.

As for the ref I really don't give a sh*te what he said cos if some of those over rated over paid foreign tw*ts who "grace" the EPL with their presence ever came up against a ref from another sport the foul mouthed gits would be down to 5-a-side by half time.

Hope they throw the book at Chelski wen he gets cleared.

Joe Say - 01 Nov 2012 07:29 - 1434 of 6918

retard

and another poor ref last night, albeit on a far lessor scale than Sunday - missed a blatant handball.

And whats this nonsense about a Torres dive - if you want the truth rerun the incident and look at both the mancs and Torres faces - they both were surprised by the decision which reveals the real truth, that everyone bar the most avid cfc hater can see

skinny - 01 Nov 2012 07:37 - 1435 of 6918

Ah - the beautiful game :-)

Stan - 01 Nov 2012 07:49 - 1436 of 6918

Ah! talking of the "beautiful game" back to the Clarets and this is the news I'm sure everyone has been waiting for -): http://www.burnleyfootballclub.com/news/article/dyche-appointed-291012-455083.aspx

Chris Carson - 01 Nov 2012 09:07 - 1437 of 6918

All I'm getting from that link Stan is how to download a Burnley FC App? Don't know whether to fart or faint :O) Oh dear Brendan, Red Shite knocked out by your old team at Anfield, gutted!

Stan - 01 Nov 2012 09:30 - 1438 of 6918

A clearer version then CC -):

Clarets confirm Sean Dyche as new manager

Burnley Football Club is delighted to confirm the appointment of Sean Dyche as its new manager.

Dyche, seen as one of football’s up-coming and progressive young managers, has signed a two-and-a-half year-contract at Turf Moor and will work with the former Nottingham Forest pair of Ian Woan and Tony Loughlan as his senior coaching team.

Dyche arrives at Turf Moor after making an impressive start to his coaching and managerial career at Watford and more recently within the England under-21 set-up.

Chris Carson - 01 Nov 2012 09:32 - 1439 of 6918

Good appointments Stan good luck.

Dil - 01 Nov 2012 11:18 - 1440 of 6918

Sean who ? :-)

Dil - 01 Nov 2012 16:15 - 1441 of 6918

"And whats this nonsense about a Torres dive"

... that's the point , he didn't but tough sh*te Joey boy cos Drogba and co been diving for years and getting away with it so a bit of rough justice was well overdue.

Regards

The retard

So the newspapers, if correct, claim Ramires, whose command of the English language apparently isn't the best, heard the ref call Mikel something, but didn't undertsand what had been said so asked someone else to translate.

Cast iron case against Clattenberg then.

Liked the Man U banner last night.

Chelsea against racism....since Sunday.

Stan - 01 Nov 2012 17:53 - 1443 of 6918

Thanks CC,

Dil, Dyche is the name and winning is his game -):

chuckles - 01 Nov 2012 20:51 - 1444 of 6918

You would think after all the fuss surrounding Terry, 'fans' would be very careful about displays of racism at the bridge.

Chris Carson - 01 Nov 2012 21:47 - 1445 of 6918

Sadly chuckles every ground has at least one gobshite with half a brain cell. As mentioned (accross the road) what must the coloured, I'm guessing child proudly wearing his Chelsea bobble hat 3 rows back think of his so called fellow supporter?
