Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

mjwill,
if you close all your browser windows and restart, does that fix it?

PW Carnell - 25 Nov 2003 15:39 - 1431 of 7315

Why do we have to keep closing windows its a pain in the arse? -it doesnt happen on other sites.

TullettJ (MoneyAM) - 25 Nov 2003 17:35 - 1432 of 7315

PW Carnell,

No, on other sites you are asked to reboot your entire machine ;)

Its to do with sessions and maintaining state accross the website (HTTP is a stateless protocol, every transaction with the server is a 'new' transaction), should the session get its knickers in a twist, the easier way to rectify it is to restart your browsers. basically.

PINOY - 26 Nov 2003 11:50 - 1441 of 7315

Kayak, Thank you . but trading from the Philipines and all other sites are up and running.

Sue 42 - 26 Nov 2003 14:28 - 1442 of 7315

Sorry if this has already been posted - but I can't trawl through 1440 posts!

When (on the traders day thread) I hit the "more" button I go back, So eg if I was looking at post 135 of 170 and asked for MORE it goes back & gives me posts say 61-90!

If this is known - fair do's - if not - it's very annoying!!!

tonyjackson - 26 Nov 2003 20:57 - 1443 of 7315

I can access moneyam without problems at work. However when I try to reach it at home,I keep getting this page is unavailable, try refesh or check your browser settings. As I am a complete dunce as regards techies, can anybody help, please.

tonyjackson - 26 Nov 2003 21:00 - 1444 of 7315

Hi Sue 42,I think this happens if the last time you pressed "more" was at post 60.I notice there isn't always an "all messages" button.

axdpc - 27 Nov 2003 17:36 - 1445 of 7315

Sector symbol (eg. UB05 etc) not accepted on Stockwatch watchlist.

Felix(MoneyAM) - 28 Nov 2003 10:59 - 1446 of 7315

axdpc, this is because you're on Premier subscription level. If you were on
Premier Plus, you'd be able to.
Click the 'Our Services' link at the bottom of this page for a
complete list of what's available at each level.
