Quindell Portfolio = Extending nicely for the future! (QPP)

Bought in today... have missed out on the impressive gains so far but solid progress is being made here and a good story developing so it looks good for more gains in the near future (imho)....

Quindell Portfolio, the brand extension company, says trading has continued positively in the period under review, building on the strong performance delivered by the Group in the first half.

The company expects to be significantly ahead of market expectations for the 15 month period ending 31 December 2011.

The Group announced back in October that it had won contracts with six established brands and one exciting new digital brand within the insurance, telecoms and utilities sectors, including for the first time, solar energy; and that revenues for 2011 were expected to be ahead of market expectations.

Since then, the Group has won further major contracts with established brands within the telecoms, utilities, on-line education and insurance sectors for both its technology enabled business process outsourcing division and software solutions division.

In aggregate, these contract wins could contribute over £6 million of annualised revenues. In addition, the Group has acquired two further businesses, Maine Finance and, most recently, Mobile Doctors Group Plc.

Margin performance has also been strong and, for 2011, margins are expected to be between 35 and 40 per cent. within its technology enabled business process outsourcing operations

a bit too greedy, but banked most of this morning's slab at 49.75, but 9.75p profit on 59.5p is not to be sneezed at, and i still have a lump more

quite a lot of bear closing now in progress

aldwickk - 17 Nov 2014 16:29 - 1448 of 1965

cynic

I went short @57.85 , closed@56.14 , my trouble is am not greedy. or as Chris said am trading on fear.

cynic - 17 Nov 2014 16:32 - 1449 of 1965

depends on how big the position .... mine was pretty modest, but as i have said previously, i was already short so not getting into dangerous territory anyway

at time of writing, it was interesting to note that the little flurry of bear closing pretty much dried up towards the close

i shall now sit and watch once more ..... though my major interest will be to watch (and hope) dow to see if it finally breaks back south of 17,600, for it's been dithering now for several days

kimoldfield - 17 Nov 2014 21:18 - 1451 of 1965

What will happen if Terry et al try to dump what is left of their shares? There will be some very twitchy button fingers tomorrow!

dont matter what terry does now - he was the problem - the problem now gone - the city does not forget

terry has no cash to pay efh if qpp stayed below 70p for 3 consecutive days - so he had a choice raise cash or sell more qpp shares something he darent do - the only way qpp can recover is him leaving the city knew his dire position hence the run to get him out

he was out of his depth and virtually friendless in the city - apparently ;

Could be a bounce in the morning here but i'd still be careful .

aldwickk - 17 Nov 2014 23:40 - 1456 of 1965

Tomorrow could go anyway , buy on Terry going or selling on Terry dumping his shares and the suspension of share dealings
