i think the markets in general could be in for a very torrid few weeks unless Dow has an unexpectedly strong day on Monday ....... if there is no further bad news on sub-prime etc over w/e that is just conceivable, though i shall not be betting on it until there is some positive indication ..... Dow after close just about struggled back over the potentially critical 13205 mark.

quite right and not only that .... if the markets stay jittery or worse (i reckon the latter) then second/third/fourth tier stocks such as this will take their customary exaggerated hammering

Taking a real hammering this morning.
400p on the cards and then that might not prop it up.
Cant see too many instituions wanting to take placements up in this climate.

was thinking of putting a limit of 400 on this short position, but am more inclined to let it keep running

The 400p is critical and expect high volatility around it, maybe even a false break - who knows!

384p/385p then?.

It could well bounce on 400p but also spend some time around that level - look at Nov/Dec06 on the graph. IF it does break lower, Fibonacci supports at 360p and 294p.

Cheers GH.
Looks very unstable to me at the moment. I suppose triggers will go off at 400p as we have seen in previous days on round figures.
Just depends if there are more sells than buy triggers set. Collapse could then set in.

We twice tested below 400p in Nov/Dec and it failed to break. Take care but I'm not closing too soon.

Pis closing in there herds. Not just triggers either, quite a few O sells in there.

Gh re to your comment above. Surely volumes nov/dec were a lot higher than today.
Is there going to be the volume to prop this one up in this market today?.

nothing falls or rises in a straight line .... trhe question is not whether or not there will be support at 400, but whether or not it will hold for say the next week, thus reinforcing same ...... hard one to call
