Still Waiting
- 21 Sep 2003 22:33
The chart for this stock says it all.
The company is quickly becoming a real gem in the telematics field, over the last month the co. has announced re-seller contracts which will bring in min. 2m or >30% of last years T/O alone.
The company is already experiencing massive organic growth so the co. should be profitable now following last years 500k loss.
The co. has approx. 6m cash and is in one of the hottest growth areas at the moment.
With a market cap. of 25m this will be re-rated x2/3 minimum within the next 6-12 months IMHO.
MM buys went through on Friday with T/O continuing to build, one to put on your monitor...

I'm not selling either, in fact if I had funds available I would buy more.
We are due some news but as another poster said Cybit doesn't seem to care about its retail investors. I just have a feeling we will get good news eventually and if I have to wait until results are published in June then so be it. The reasons I invested in the first place have not changed. Cybit is in profit and in a growth sector. Also institutions invested 5million at 3p recently......WHY?

Iam not selling either Iam happy to invest in Cybit and the sector.
It will soon be results time in June so May could be very interesting. So there is no way Iam going to sell I just wish I could get them into my self select ISA to avoid the CGT that will due on the profit!!

If it's of any comfort to anyone, I'm not selling either. I hold more than I ought to but am still very upbeat & confident about CYH and see nothing has changed for me to even consider such a move.
As already stated, see the current price as a good buying opportunity. If I could, I would certainly buy more.
Keep the faith & good luck all.

Info only - Snippet from Independent (today)
As befits an industry based on advanced tracking technology, telematics companies are keeping a close eye on the progress of Minorplanet, the debt-burdened hardware group which is touring shareholders in the hope of raising at least 6m of emergency funding. But none is glued to the radar screen as closely as Cybit, the 25m AIM-listed company which sells software and services to allow businesses to track their fleets of company vehicles.
Word is the company is plotting an audacious merger approach to its stricken sector mate, in a deal that would allow it to push its own products and services to Minorplanet's large but sadly unprofitable customer base. Minorplanet insists it has the support of its shareholders and the fundraising details will be finalised by the end of the month, but bankers said last week they expected Cybit to make a hostile approach before anything is signed.

little woman
you will not get AT trades going through...cybit is traded on SEQA...to get AT trades it would need to be traded on SETSMM or SETS which it is not.
Cybits price is controlled by only four market makers.
douggie
take no notice of what the trades screen says at the end of the day...a spread of 2.3p - 2.8p today has really been 2.37p - 2.5p with some dealers - so the 2.5p could be mainly buys.

i was offered 2.5 to buy 250000 , i have a fair few of these myself looking at the trades is a waste of time on a share like this , there are rumours of funds etc getting positions sorted so this will cause volitility until they are filled ,the mms are there to create a market for that to happen
You need to relax this share will go places but not yet, short term dips are time to stock up if you can
but inst bought @ 3p and 14mill bought by other fund, as long as management keep there heads together keep getting contracts and keep the cap expenditure down to a minimum, this has got the making of a retirement share , at the end of the day this is offering a product which is in demand from a wide range of clients

Interesting question prepared.
Yeomans products on mobile phone networks adding to SmartNav really opens up the mass market for navigation services to smaller fleets, mobile workforces and the general public even on foot.
If Cybit is able to take advantage of this, and make their fleet and workforce management software available to small businesses on mobile phone networks and the web this service could be a truly massive market. If small business are able to track where their vehicles & workforces are, then even parents could be able to check where their children are!
Just food for thought and debate!

Legins,
As far as I know there is already a service providered by network operators to trace the location of a mobile for parents. I can't remember the name of the company, but I know it already exists.
