EWRobson
Comments duly noted. The money aspect was based on turnover and sales - I am aware of the placing. The RF technology is promising. Asda are very interested. SEO do have other irons in the fire. Enough positives?

I treat all broker predictions for what they are. EVOs in particular.

zscrooge. Thanks. Friends again without needing any french! Eric

AdieH, the following is in no way a dissing of SEO but, as a BPRG holder you will recall that BPRG raised 10m last year in an opportunistic placing at 110p. It was thought this would set a natural support level. Yet the bears drove the price down to 55p subsequently.

You have said above that the recent SEO placing at 12.75p will set a floor but you know from experience that is a flimsy argument.

The SEO placing was acutely opportunistic. A couple of weeks before, 12.75p was a pipedream. It is too opportunistic to have substance as a floor for the share price so it would be no surprise to see it broken as the PI's whose demand chased the price up will bail as it comes down. BPRG is a classic example. The "potential" of both companies' technologies is huge but it acts as no short term safety net for the share price.

I do agree, Bones

bosley - 17 Feb 2005 00:05 - 1459 of 27111

good points being raised. great to read fact based comments, whether i like them or not, bones makes a good point. also, im sure ive said this before on a different thread: mr . knevel says hes shorting a stock ,everyone panics and sells, price drops, prophecy fulfilled. are people so lemming like? also, people should not await the results with too much expectation , they aint going to be that good. but we should await any new rns with expectation

tau - 17 Feb 2005 01:26 - 1460 of 27111

what a cryptic load of crap. obviously the guy is getting sweaty about his own shorting and 'cunningly' trying to woo the fickle to his dark lair. The words "will not" seem to have negative conotations ie. short. And "good news" appears to be the bail out(sorry for observing the obvious). Nevertheless, I would trust GW Bush more than him and suspect he is getting a bit desperate. (reference to Evil K).
apols. late night rant.

bosley - 17 Feb 2005 07:16 - 1461 of 27111

AdieH - 17 Feb 2005 07:29 - 1462 of 27111

Good debate going on, I like your comments bones, well thought out, it will be interesting to see if we get another red day today...

Biscuit - 17 Feb 2005 08:36 - 1464 of 27111

Price is holding up very well.

shao - 17 Feb 2005 09:01 - 1465 of 27111

just can't seem to understand this sh*t. there has been nearly 1000000 shares sold and zero bought but the price stays the same. i can't understand how this works? can someone please explain why this happens

Paulo2 - 17 Feb 2005 09:02 - 1466 of 27111

13.85 trades are buys!

Dynamite - 17 Feb 2005 09:09 - 1467 of 27111

Shao...Often Sells come up as buys as Paulo says and also it depends on whether an institution or big buyer are mopping up the shares; if the demand is there the price stays up. Also if the MM's expect a big demnand in the short term they will mop up lots of shares too. That's my understand anyway DYOR

Chelsea1957 - 17 Feb 2005 10:49 - 1473 of 27111

Just bought 10000 @ 13.6 my 5th and last "top-up". I'm now happy with my holding and am going to tuck them away for the next year or so. The share price may go down in the short term, longer term the upward potential is much greater than the downside risk imo. I'm not into short term trading as I haven't got a crystal ball or the time to try and guess which way the markets going to move on a daily basis. I've got a wide ranging portfolio, but have chosen this share to go overweight to give me a chance to outperform the market.

stockdog - 17 Feb 2005 10:55 - 1474 of 27111

Snap, Chelsea! Would join you in one more for the road, if I had any cash spare.

Buyers seem ot be back in in force at 13.50p. Is this the bottom? Does it look big in this?

Here's to 2006!
