Evening Jeff, are you at work?

hilary - 03 Jun 2003 20:21 - 1460 of 23498

'fraid not Socs. I missed the obvious entry and I would've broken my rules to have entered after that. Compliance is the key, you see.

:-)

hightone - 03 Jun 2003 20:25 - 1461 of 23498

Jeff no nag jumps out at me but good luck (-:

Hil what are your rules in a nut shell and which broker do you use cheers.

Hi there Old Socs keep my seat warm at the old Fez Club for me and if you want a drink or two put it on HT tab cheers.

HT.

jeffmack - 03 Jun 2003 20:58 - 1462 of 23498

HT, thanks. I went night racing twice last year and lost about 500 each time, so hoping for better luck.

Socs, was at work till 7, now home.

vasey - 03 Jun 2003 21:26 - 1463 of 23498

Socs: I did get out of MoPo before it asked to be suspended, but out of devilment, I kept a few token shares so I could follow the process through and find out what really went on.

Hil: Thanks for finishing off the game for us all.Seemed very few people were playing really.

But well done to the winners.....

Socrates - 03 Jun 2003 21:31 - 1464 of 23498

Vasey
So what did go on, have you found out yet?

Hilary
Sorry you missed MPH, thought it may have been just right for you. Not too late is it, still some percentage there I think.

Jeff
Working till 7, glutton for punishment aren't you!

jeffmack - 04 Jun 2003 07:32 - 1465 of 23498

Hil, morning MOOSE FACE

hilary - 04 Jun 2003 07:38 - 1466 of 23498

Seen it Jeff. Looks like I'll have to go muppet baiting a bit later.

little willie - 04 Jun 2003 09:38 - 1467 of 23498

Morning all, you at it again minxie?
Nice to know JM is there on your shoulder offering words of support.
I was tipped ATL a few weeks ago so didn't buy but had them in 'the game',
the info was a couple of weeks out but now I've missed the boat, again.
What does your Zulu crystal ball make of them..lw

hilary - 04 Jun 2003 11:46 - 1468 of 23498

I'm not really "at it", lw ........ just some jerk on the other side took offence because I'd dared to short one of his babies. I don't suppose you know of any good shrinks so I can pass their number on, do you?

Don't follow ATL, I'm afraid. The chart said buy back in April, so I'd be wary of buying now as they could pullback at anytime. What are their fundies like?

little willie - 04 Jun 2003 16:37 - 1469 of 23498

Minxie, only head doctor I know is an african witch and his appointment book is stuffed full.
I'm every other day mornings and every other day afternoons. Any other days and I'm at the funny farm talking to Gerald the giraffe, he's extremely intelligent and it was he who suggested ATL.
Looking back at todays hike I may have missed the boat but I'm told they have funds galore, doubling of profits and a tremendous customer base like a
'who's who'..ah well I'll take Brandy Nonuts [american ragdoll cat],it getsdark soon, and then its back on my head for me.......
The jurys still out as far as I'm concerned re MAM and I'm not sure why everyone has defected. This set up takes an age getting in and runs slow compared to advfn....lw

Socrates - 04 Jun 2003 16:41 - 1470 of 23498

Yoooooooooooooo!

vasey - 04 Jun 2003 17:07 - 1471 of 23498

hello socks!

Socrates - 04 Jun 2003 18:31 - 1472 of 23498

Hello Vasey, had a good day? I guess trading is not quite so predictable in this market, how are you finding it?

Some of my dogs are making some headway, not yet greyhounds but at least they are walking a bit now. I just want WGG to wake up and start moving.

[:-)

hilary - 04 Jun 2003 21:15 - 1473 of 23498

Saint Willie,

I had a quick peek at your ATL. Were you aware that their MD is called Eugene and their FD is called Rupert? Wonder how those 2 swing??!!?? Anyway, good luck if you decide to invest.

I know where you're coming from with your last paragraph. Although I don't have a problem with the speed* of my connection**, I have toured busier morgues. At least everyone here is friendly and Rome was built at night***, so's to speak. ADVFN was pretty damn quiet in early-2k as I recall and the competition can only be good for the punter.

Anyway, Jolly Hockeysticks, TTFN and don't forget to send me that long overdue e-mail!

* I've always been fast, as you well know.
** Suggest that you check if the string is still knotted at the junction with the baked bean can.
*** It wasn't built in a day.

jeffmack - 04 Jun 2003 23:43 - 1474 of 23498

A very very good night at the races, couple of winners as well.

little willie - 05 Jun 2003 09:47 - 1475 of 23498

Morning all, cheers minxie and promise I'll mail.
Eugene and Rupert eh, wonder if the latter wears those v.loud checked red on yellow golfing trousers as I want some, preferably plus twos.
You know how to tell if a guy swings that way.
Give him a kiss;
if he closes his eyes he's gay, if however he closes yours......!

Baked beans, whats that?..lol..Romeeoow...can never understand how the Colliseum is still standing and incomplete,
guess they must have invested in ATN and de Bancio he pullyd ouutta di plugio... Franky will interpritio...ceow bella bella bambino.

Jeffers glad to know your like HT, you've an eye for nag that likes to be ridden hard.

Lots of blue this a.m., hope it continues. Brilliant sunshine here but pretty cool with it, think I'll do an hour or two fishing...lw

hilary - 05 Jun 2003 10:51 - 1476 of 23498

You make sure that you get that e-mail off to me pdq, lw, else I'll set the rugrats onto you.

Socs,

Do you recall that I mentioned a little aerospace company a few weeks back?

:-)

This_is_me - 05 Jun 2003 13:56 - 1477 of 23498

Hilary

What is the best TA software? Fed up not getting entry and exit points right and missing those extra % that make all the difference even to someone like Me who concentrates on fundamentals.

jeffmack - 05 Jun 2003 14:23 - 1478 of 23498

The guys on the traders thread swear by Sharescope. There is an end of day version and a real time version. That doesnt mean its the best. There is a new system due on the market soon from a company called Hilary Moosehead, dont know much about it but its quite successful.

Many offer free trials, so try them.
