Did someone mention doughnuts?

stockbunny - 27 Sep 2004 16:04 - 14718 of 23498

JJ hope you cure your swishing noise and yes have as many do'nuts as you
want - if you can get that site to load it will make you feel heaps
better as you 'take out' the stress on the enemy - usual comic fun
with a gun..all harmless fun!

Afternoon Kayak!

stockbunny - 27 Sep 2004 16:24 - 14719 of 23498

Just edited out that previous link as the site appears to be down
and who needs being wound up by a never-loading site on a Monday
afternoon!

jj50 - 27 Sep 2004 16:27 - 14720 of 23498

Kayak - thanks. I have a couple of filters but not on all phones so shall buy some more. Advice much appreciated. I'll come and hoover for you in return!

Bunny - site obviously heard I was heading its way! I'm having that effect on technology today but think Kayak has probably kindly solved my problems. Donuts definitely helped too :-)

stockbunny - 27 Sep 2004 16:31 - 14721 of 23498

JJ - email sent to you on your direct email address.
Hope the filters do the trick for you.

I'm outta here now, heading for a quiet, hot bubble bath before
starting dinner - have a great evening all!

Kayak - 27 Sep 2004 16:44 - 14722 of 23498

Afternoon stockbunny and I may take you up on the cleaning offer jj50 since our already unreliable Eastern European cleaner has just done a bunk!

Kayak - 27 Sep 2004 16:47 - 14723 of 23498

BTW I don't mean my wife :-)

jj50 - 27 Sep 2004 16:55 - 14724 of 23498

Socrates - 27 Sep 2004 17:32 - 14727 of 23498

Hello everyone, what a fun day. Just spent an interesting half hour trying to work the PTG 15:1 consolidation out on my finance programme (Quicken). Eventually found it under "Scrip Issues", naturally the first place anyone would look!

My council re-cycling truck has not been around again. I shall have to have a quick trip out because I'm knee deep in bottles and old newspaper. Happy days.

amberjane - 27 Sep 2004 17:34 - 14728 of 23498

sounds like you need to cut down on the chips and milk then socs...:>)

little willie - 27 Sep 2004 17:37 - 14729 of 23498

Hils/Jeffers...
Coincidence but today played in "Old Farts" league at nearby Stellenbosch Golf Course, one of my two opponents was an ex-Ceo of Alexcor.

Very interesting hearing him tell how that mine progressed over the years and the rewards gained plus his views on the 'so called' indigenous San people who now claim it as their birthright...according to him and he is an Afrikaaner
"They're nothing but a bunch of gyppos after a freebie".

He reckons it will only ever be solved by black empowerment which prob would take any truly International mining exploration company out of the game.

I realise that Angola is the big hope but lingering thoughts re Alexcor are still there; v.big buys today by the by......
:-0))

hilary - 27 Sep 2004 18:29 - 14730 of 23498

Hello Winks,

Glad to see that you've still got time for the important things in life ........ like golf.

:o)

Forget about Alexkor completely. It's history, imo. Concentrate solely on Angola. Angola dwarfs Alexkor which has proved little more than a convenient distraction during the Force Majeure. I don't like to say this, but there has been a history of mismanagement at Alexkor for years before Nabera turned it. When was your hoppo the ceo?

And the big trades today ..... looks like a rollover to me. They'll hold the price back till that's either funded or they're out of the market.

Patience Rodders.

optomistic - 27 Sep 2004 18:37 - 14731 of 23498

Kayak,
I'm a little bit late on picking up on this but one thing I have found is that the eastern european women are not ones who smile a lot. I'm sure that jj would be quite different, and you should be so lucky!!

amberjane - 27 Sep 2004 19:10 - 14732 of 23498

I'm not eastern european and I DO smile a lot....... when I'm happy. Feel a bit alone right now though so Opto, cuddles please.....

Socrates - 27 Sep 2004 19:17 - 14733 of 23498

I'm back.

jeffmack - 27 Sep 2004 19:18 - 14734 of 23498

I'm freeeeeeee

Socrates - 27 Sep 2004 19:22 - 14735 of 23498

Jeffmack
I was just talking to you on the PTG thread and now you're over here!

Free of what Jeffmack, have you heard from the clinic!

Kayak - 27 Sep 2004 19:30 - 14736 of 23498

You're right actually opto, this one never offered me a smile. Nor anything else for that matter. I'm sure any of the girls here would be much more friendly.
