I have been holding some since they were at 16.5p and managed to pick up more at 9.2 so looking at a nice profit. Will hold for now I think. More upside if the markets decide to recover?

TT - hopefully. I sold my first lot last December and only bought again recently - I'll probably hold what I have left.

Bought more yesterday at 19.25 and very pleased with today's upturn.

The fact that the government have put a few million into the company by way of job creation does suggest very good prospects for SXX

Week commencing 21st Nov should see the analysis of the core samples released. Certainly worth holding until then, imo.

Decent volume again, RSI looking a tad over bought. Recent high today @21.50 - 12 month high 22.25.

Sold SXX today having realised a near x4 bagger..got a feeling a bit more is still to come.....but GLA

Harry's suggestion of holding until 21st when analysis results are announced may be good strategy.

Looks like lots of profit taking today and the price is bouncing around the 21p mark.
A dip below 20 and I'll add to my holdings.

Once again glad I held my nerve. Down 10% at one point, but recovered nicely so far.

I guess the hardest thing to do at times is to keep in mind the bigger picture. Especially when it seems as though the "sword of Damocles " is hanging over your head! When it doesn't fall you wonder what all the fuss was about!
And, the bigger picture is looking good.

Results for the Six Months to 30 September 2011

The Directors of Sirius Minerals Plc (AIM: SXX, OTCQX: SRUXY), the globally diversified potash development group, are pleased to announce the Company's results for the six month period to 30 September 2011.

Financial and Operational Highlights

-- Initial results for first drill hole at York Potash announced;
-- One of the world's single largest potash intersections ever reported;
-- Planning applications for the first six drill sites at the York Potash Project approved;
-- Announcement of maiden York Potash resource planned for the first quarter of 2012;
-- The appointment of Peter Woods to the Board as a non-executive director and the appointment of Graham Clarke as Operations Director;

-- Liberum appointed as joint broker and Macquarie Capital appointed as Nomad and joint broker;

-- Cash balance at period end of GBP14.9 million; and
-- Sirius awarded up to GBP2.8 million from the UK Government's Regional Growth Fund, subject to completion of due diligence.

An enticing couple of sentences from the Chairman's Statement!:-

"We announced that we had intersected 81.8 metres (true thickness) of total potash mineralisation across three seams with the hole being terminated while still in polyhalite mineralisation at 1,534 metres below sea level.
It is important to recognise that our exploration target of between 3.3 and 6.0 billion tonnes of polyhalite is based on an average thickness of just 5m of 67% to 94% polyhalite (19% to 27% K2SO4)."

I just hope the core sample analysis comes back with good news. Disappointing data could see this go back down very fast. Am still sitting tight, but may decide to take some profit towards the end of the week......just in case!

Well, had a change of heart & bought some more! Already in profit..........amazing!

And the trading volumes are very high - another 18 million today.
I'd like to hear more on future prospects.
