If you are that real Tory Git! you can sQd off, but If not I'm sure you will be most welcome ;-)

Fred1new - 09 Nov 2005 15:55 - 151 of 1427

Even if you are the real blond bombshell you are welcome to the bak room of the Anchor,

Never know you could have some useful connections for insider dealing. And i am not thinking of any sum such as 15000 in that light. Wouldn't dare with Mad Liar around.

I might get 90days.

aldwickk - 09 Nov 2005 16:05 - 152 of 1427

You lot must be getting very fat drinking all those pints and eating all those pies.

aldwickk - 09 Nov 2005 16:08 - 153 of 1427

To many Birmingham pie and pints.

Fred1new - 09 Nov 2005 20:11 - 154 of 1427

Aldwick,

Be careful or we may sit on you when we meet?

By the way where did you get my photograph from?

Boris we don't know anything about shares either.

But the barman does.

When you come remember its the non-smokers' backroom. Not the non-smoking backroom which I almost wrote.

Stan - 14 Nov 2005 12:02 - 155 of 1427

last meeting the question of a pre Christmas meal was mentioned.

can't remember If November or December was mentioned ,If any.

Can someone enlighten me please?

55011 - 14 Nov 2005 12:14 - 156 of 1427

Had nearer Christmas in mind.

By the way, I have the same problem as Stan recently reporterd getting the UK-Wire link to work properly. It occasionally does so, but 95% of the time it doesn't. Going direct to UK-Wire in a separate window is no better. I don't know if there is a registration issue with UK-Wire but I've never seen mention of it. I get it now on the AOL home page. It might be an ISP quirk.

Stan - 14 Nov 2005 13:45 - 157 of 1427

OK 55, sort something out next meet. I agree links still not reliable.

Fred1new - 14 Nov 2005 15:11 - 158 of 1427

Even my own internal links are questionable!!

Stan - 20 Nov 2005 13:21 - 159 of 1427

Next Meeting this Tuesday 22nd November. Same time same place (details above). All welcome.

55011 - 20 Nov 2005 13:44 - 160 of 1427

Stan - 23 Nov 2005 08:54 - 161 of 1427

Hope everyone got home alright last night, my train didn't leave until 9.55

In the end 55. what a dismal cold place New street Is.

55011 - 23 Nov 2005 11:48 - 162 of 1427

Fred1new - 05 Dec 2005 18:33 - 163 of 1427

Going to look to-morrow for the Balti restaurant for the next meeting(party) (I will wear a frock and beard) on the Wednesday 14th of December.

Probably, Stoney Lane area after meeting at The Anchor.

Do I look for a restaurant which has table-cloths and chairs or one with Formica tables and stools?

I suppose you boys will want one with a licence?

I will update to-morrow.

55011 - 05 Dec 2005 18:50 - 164 of 1427

Ah yes, you did mention something about the local ladies. Bearded eh! Licensed for anything special??

Stan - 05 Dec 2005 21:43 - 165 of 1427

A restaurant with table- cloths?.....didn't know it was going to be a posh do!

Kivver - 06 Dec 2005 00:52 - 166 of 1427

Fred1new - 06 Dec 2005 13:59 - 167 of 1427

5510 , Stan

Thanks Kivver May have a look. Had a fruitless tour of the high light areas of Birmingham this am. looking for Asian restaurants I use to frequent.

4-5 places have disappeared (possibly condemned), two have are now selling Italian food.

I think China has secretly invaded Birmingham.

Have been instructed to have a look at another Asian restaurant in Ladypool Road.

What is opinion of a Chinese as we will be backing onto China Town?
