Cybit the best telematics play (CYH)

Still Waiting - 21 Sep 2003 22:33

The chart for this stock says it all.

The company is quickly becoming a real gem in the telematics field, over the last month the co. has announced re-seller contracts which will bring in min. 2m or >30% of last years T/O alone.

The company is already experiencing massive organic growth so the co. should be profitable now following last years 500k loss.

The co. has approx. 6m cash and is in one of the hottest growth areas at the moment.

With a market cap. of 25m this will be re-rated x2/3 minimum within the next 6-12 months IMHO.

MM buys went through on Friday with T/O continuing to build, one to put on your monitor...

Don't worry about CYH all will come good. You will have noticed on the Advfn thread that there are a lot of big long term holders. Everyone is fed up with the shareprice and there are questions that need to be answered. But most people are still happy to be involved with Cybit because they think it will come good. Just keep telling yourself that the placing was oversubscribed
@ 3p. I think there are more institutions on the sidelines waiting to jump in. And what about all the consolidation going on in the sector. I think we have much to look forward to. The year end results will be published in June and then we will really know what's what. Just my thoughts, thinking out loud.

neilpos - 22 Mar 2004 11:07 - 1483 of 3104

I think that something is going on behind the scenes, not necessarily something bad. Any ideas anyone??? Would love to know what efc123/phil365/chrissie all think of this price fall.

Golfclub12 - 22 Mar 2004 16:28 - 1486 of 3104

Well I couldnt resist but buy another 150k at 15.51 today and got them for 0.0246p - A bargain for sure.

If they do dip again I will be selling others to buy more of these at these prices.

'Something wonderful is going to happen' - Sooner or later!

Good luck to all holders.

maggieuk - 22 Mar 2004 17:30 - 1489 of 3104

ive joined tx in his group. There are some big holders involved and we intend to ask questions regarding the recent share price 'movement'. Many long term holdrs have topped up recently including myself as rumours abound that CYH is to take over MPS for its customer base and tax losses. Who knows about that one but CYH thread on ADVFN is quite unusual as so many posters have built up big holdings over the long term and are not prepared to bail out at these prices. Personally its 5p+ for me. No you dastardly MMs, you can't have my shares...

Come and find about the club if you are serious about the long term merits of CYH

Pumacat - 22 Mar 2004 18:56 - 1490 of 3104

This is absolutley bloody ridiculous

I am staying in as I cants really afford to leave but soem news of either serious aquisitions or multi million pound contracts is needed to pull this share up again

Once again buys outstrips sells by over a million!

dwbd - 22 Mar 2004 21:22 - 1491 of 3104

I can't understand it! Lots of blue 'buys', some of them large ones, and a lot fewer 'sells', and the share price falls! I'm still not selling, though, but someone pass me a sickbag!

gary k - 22 Mar 2004 22:26 - 1492 of 3104

Do Cybit sell sickbags? You should give Medisys a try (Mdy)!!! LOL :-)

Cybit Appoints London Car Radio Centre as Accredited Reseller
LCRC to sell Cybit's web-based fleet management solution to East Midlands companies, enabling them to rapidly adopt mobile workforce management tools
Cybit, the UK's leading provider of online fleet management and telematics solutions, has announced a reseller partnership with London Car Radio Centre (LCRC), one of the East Midlands leading providers of in-vehicle and mobile workforce technology. LCRC will sell Cybit's scalable Fleetstar-Online fleet management software, satellite navigation and traffic information solutions to new and existing clients across the East Midlands. For the first time, this will provide them with a web-based fleet management solution to address the new Working Time Directive, provide duty of care to their mobile workforce and increase efficiency through improved planning and visibility.

The appointment of LCRC as a Cybit accredited reseller further extends the company's market penetration for its next generation fleet management and telematics solutions and follows the recent appointment of Vanguard plc and Signature Industries as accredited resellers.

"The market for in-vehicle telematics technology has shifted significantly over the past five years, moving on from just being a stolen vehicle recovery solution to become a mobile workforce management tool," said Jon Riley, Managing Director of LCRC. "A number of factor such as the Working Time Directive, which requires companies to ensure that their mobile workers do not exceed working hours and take necessary breaks, mean that companies need to have increased visibility and management of their employees. These requirements can be fulfilled with Cybit's web-based telematics offering which also provides measurable productivity improvements and reduced operational expenses."

"As one of the East Midlands' leading providers of in-vehicle and mobile workforce technology, we're delighted to appoint LCRC as an accredited reseller," said Jason Laight, Cybit's Reseller Manager. "The company has over 30 years industry experience and understands the requirements of companies looking to enhance the efficiency of their fleet, whilst also providing duty of care to their employees. Even at this very early stage of the partnership, LCRC has an impressive pipeline of telematics business which is a clear signal of the market potential for our scalable telematics solutions and professional services."

Fleetstar-Online provides companies employing a mobile workforce with cost-effective ASP-based fleet management capabilities and a rapid return on investment. Fleet vehicles are fitted with a small electronic in-vehicle-unit (IVU) which is tracked by GPS in real-time and data transmitted to Cybit's online control centre to be accessed by users over the Internet with a standard web browser. Fleetstar-Online's 'anytime, anywhere' fleet management tools include real-time location-based tracking of vehicles, up-to-the-minute traffic information, route planning and scheduling, historical reporting and analysis, journey replay, exception reporting and SMS capabilities.

WILL IT HAVE ANY EFFECT ON THE PRICE TOMORROW :-((( HOPE SO :-))))

gary k - 23 Mar 2004 00:38 - 1495 of 3104

I doubt it will have any significance in the med to long term, maybe a slight blip upwards early on followed by it drifting down again.

Only major news and whoever is holding these back letting go will see steady rises.

Med to long term, this is a winning company so stick with it.

Douggie - 23 Mar 2004 08:28 - 1496 of 3104

Red open!...after very positive trading yesterday....definatley held back....no encouragement given for weeks now to allow this share to make any upward progress....????????

gary k - 23 Mar 2004 10:01 - 1497 of 3104

We're seeing blue for a change!! Hooray!!

Dare I say it, but could this be the start of better things?

I doubt it too, but live in hope of further prosperity!

Good luck all
