rather than pick out individual stocks to trade, it can often be worthwhile to trade the indices themselves, especially in times of high volatility.

for those so inclined, i attach below charts for FTSE and FTSE 250, though one might equally be tempted to trade Dow or S&P, which is significantly broader in its coverage, or even NASDAQ

The chart suggests a longer term long positon Skinny but note the 200DMA arc, it looks as though it'as nearly topped out.

Shortie - I'm not sure atm, I've been busy again today and have only had a punt to the long side which netted @40 points - against the grain I know.

I got a small one at 6600, fingers crossed... I'm running short of portfolio funds at the moment, think it'll be small bets for a while until I've built it back up.

Looks overbought on everthing upto the 2 hour at the moment....

That upper red bolly band I referred to as the retracement target in 14736 currently resides at 6674, Shortie and Skinners. There's a way to go yet.
