SEO will be providing more than peanuts to its shareholders!

Next step though will probably be a share consolidation (which I don't entirely like in any company) If it's 1 for 10 that wouldn't be too bad but 1 for 1000 may wipe out blinger's holding!

kimoldfield - 14 Feb 2006 13:41 - 14837 of 27111

You are probably right about the shadowy ones Alan!

Why do you think a consolidation? Not saying you're wrong, just wondered what made you think thats next.

kimoldfield - 14 Feb 2006 13:48 - 14839 of 27111

Mainly because of the 'stigma' which institutions seem to be placing on penny shares, they think they are not 'repesctable' enough and prevent really serious investors from putting money into companies. A view that I think is a complete load of bo****ks, penny shares are more fun, therefore more attractive to a hell of a lot of people and for many other reasons apart from the obvious!

kimoldfield - 14 Feb 2006 13:52 - 14840 of 27111

A recent consolidation was Osmetech, hasn't done a hell of a lot for the share price and hasn't changed the company or it's products, what it has done though is diluted a load of shareholders pocket money should the company reach dividend payment stage (dirty trick in my book, but that's shares and the stock market for you!)

That WOD SD has hit the nail on the head, the thread on the button, the tit on the boob! We are in a very nice flag formation with an upward tendency; the pressure is on the upper bound. The break-out should occur approximately 2/3rds of the convergence. I make that around the turn of the month; lo and behold results on 28th. Chart-wise, unlikely to be down. Fundamentally, case building for being up. Even Bos needs to have a stake, leaving the steak for sd. Be poised to strike when the results come out, folk; well, not the results but the prognosis.

Just sold all mine , i don't want to wait 5 years for these to come good, got better things to invest my money in, this share reminds of the spin and hype that surrounded PET only instead of mega oil contracts it was 1,000's of RF sealing m/c and a mega contract with Wal mart.

Sharesure - 15 Feb 2006 11:46 - 14847 of 27111

Aldwickk, I hope you come to regret moving on even if it is only temporarily. If you have spare cash and want some immediate (7 days?) action try the CHP thread for an idea.

Biscuit - 15 Feb 2006 11:48 - 14848 of 27111

aldwickk, If you bought them based on spin and hype, sadly, you're a speculator, not an investor. Good luck with future speculating.

EWRobson - 15 Feb 2006 13:07 - 14849 of 27111

Agree aldwick in so far as there was too much spin and hype last year, not necessarily initiated by the company. The company was, though, over ambitious in its statements; if analysts get it so far wrong then they have been briefed by the company representatives in the first place. I see a changed picture now. Announcements are low key. The short-term traders have left. The share is trading in a narrow channel which must mean that the shorters have gone and the longers are taking a long-term view, like me. I have just been commenting on the ASC thread about the disappearance of 'interest' as the short-termers move on. ASC has moved into new high ground without any fuss and there is no resistance level ahead; but volumes remain low and the thread is ignored. Not a bad policy to get back in for the second leg of progress for a share where the fundamentals are good. AZM is another in the same camp. SEO may not have reached that stage yet; we will know better after the statement with the results.

Don't forget also, this company, and BPRG, have clearly been hindered by the ridiculous court case (something they may well deny but is obvious to me). Progress should be clearer and speedier now.

Eric

I could not have put it better myself. Agree whole heartedly with your sentiments.

IF, and its an IF, SEO give good projections for Greenseal installations with ASDA and then elsewhere within the UK and abroad - need I hint where - and Starpol trials are announced, then I really think that the shares will start to move steadily upward with little retracements.

Investors must look at the bigger picture with this company. The potential is fantastic.

I have been very tempted to switch temporarily into TFC, FOG, VOG and TNZ recently for short gains, but have resisted on the grounds that, like others on this board, my timing is often unfortunate.

Keep the faith at least until the announcements of the results later this month.

The oily one

aldwickk - 15 Feb 2006 15:05 - 14852 of 27111

I bought SEO after the BPRG settlement RNS, looking to sell for a small but fast profit, i have been in and out of these since they were 10p and overhaul made a profit.

Sharesure, been in and out of CHP since under 6p, just bought back in @ 11p, two for you to look at are EEL & CEY.

aldwickk - 15 Feb 2006 15:20 - 14853 of 27111

I only deal in oil,gas and mining co's now, so i was not very happy holding them, what SEO needs is cash flow which investers first thought would come from Greenseal, Good luck all.

jimward9 - 15 Feb 2006 15:27 - 14854 of 27111

Take a look at FUTURA MEDICAL (FUM.L)
Should anounce a tieup with a big pharma very soon could sent share price up 20%

Sharesure - 15 Feb 2006 15:41 - 14855 of 27111

aldwickk, thanks. I know and like CEY; will look at EEL.
Still think SEO remains a good medium term hold; just hope it lives up to the expectations. The mgt. seem a lot more cagey about saying anything to individual investors nowadays, or is that just me?!!!!
