MELDEX. Double your money- quicktime. (MDX)

kitosdad - 12 Dec 2007 16:20

The engines have fired up at last for MDX. ( BPRG ) At long last they are being recognised for the force they will become over the next two years. On the cusp of disclosing huge revenue-earning deals with Global pharmacists. These have been hinted at as being unrolled before the years end, but may be in the next days. You still have time to get in at a bargain-basement price before the SP takes off for real shortly.

Not half as entertaining as Eddie Stobart plastered over your shorts!

Big Al - 31 Jul 2008 16:02 - 1489 of 8631

They always give me a giggle, Dil. A bit like the "investors" on here. I don't find them quite as much fun as the ADVFN lot were, but this lot are still around, not having been wiped out. ;-)))

I did feel sorry for a few over the other side, though, espcially that rafboy (?). He'd got completely caught up and sunk his whole pension into this one company. Nuts!!

Big Al - 31 Jul 2008 16:03 - 1490 of 8631

The only thing plastered over my shorts will be you when I take my morning constitutional, Tabatha. LOL!

tabasco - 31 Jul 2008 16:09 - 1491 of 8631

Sorry alison I dont hang out in doorwayslooking for soup! You will have to sh*t in your begging bowl!

Big Al - 31 Jul 2008 16:15 - 1492 of 8631

I'll s**t you out anywhere you like.

ptholden - 31 Jul 2008 16:17 - 1493 of 8631

Well Dil according to their last set of accounts MDX managed to make a profit of just under 1M with a reported diluted EPS of 0.5p.

The reason I asked the question (although I would never base an investment decision on PE) is that today MDX are trading on a whopping PE of 66. MDX kindly provided a proforma projection within their last accounts stating that had the acquisitions been included over a 12 month period, a profit of 3.7m would have been realised. Even with this greatly enhanced 'potential' profit their PE would still have been somewhere in the region of 19, possibly close to the sector average. Admittedly PE is historical in this context and makes no allowance for growth, but MDX have failed to grow their own products very much in the last four years from a revenue / profit perspective. Seems to me that MDX is pretty much fairly valued right now and why would anyone want to offer a premium to the SP to take them over. Possibly synergies / cost savings with saimilar product lines will play a part.

Now what are you saying Alison? and think about it very carefully before you answer!

Big Al - 31 Jul 2008 16:33 - 1495 of 8631

Why?

Dil - 31 Jul 2008 16:46 - 1496 of 8631

Agree pt thats why I laffed when everyone was hyping a 120p-150p takeover earlier this year.

Be lucky to get 60p in the current climate.

Where's Scotty ... his mum locked him in his bedroom or something ?

Big Al - 31 Jul 2008 17:17 - 1499 of 8631

Big Al - 31 Jul 2008 18:23 - 1503 of 8631

I'm not sure Dil would get out of bed for 50k.

As for threatening, get a life, Tabatha. Like I said, not my style, but if you wish to take it that way be my guest. I really could care.

Losers always seem to feel the need to boast about how much they've made, don't they? Common theme on BBs since time began.

tabasco - 31 Jul 2008 18:46 - 1504 of 8631
