Hello all, Beautiful warm spring morning here in the Winelands of SA.
One hour ahead of UK and there isn't a cloud in the sky, I've got raging hay fever [ cortizone injection in my bum yesterday to hopefully sort it]
[[hay fever, not my bum]].
On the first tee in 30 mins. A challenge competition Paarl GC v a British Golfing Touring Society of Celebs and has beens. [Our team is ALL has beens!]
Mrs.lw has the fridge stocked with tubes of liquid refreshments and the wine cold cabinets are filled to the brim with this years Sauvignon Blanc and Chenin.
The best Cap Classique Champennoise Methiode Fizz is also ready;seven whole fillet lie marinading [cost 11 each] along with about five kilos of King Prawns [a gift from the lobster fisherman] and 16 Lobsters [2 each].
The pool is ay 74 degrees and 30 'ish hungry & thirsty souls will descend following tales of much misfortune and dame lady bad-luck,missed putts, when I was a young man [ a Parkinson favourite] bad bounce etc which meant that instead of breaking the course record their handicap did or should,in fact, go up two shots!
We shall get rid of them all at about 2am when the pool will resemble the Somme
both in colour and rubbish therein. There will, in all probability be items of apparell laying all over the place which no-one will claim or have any knowledge of; oh yes, and there is bound to be ONE odd sho or sandle.
There always is.
QUESTION: Who walks, drives, limps home on one leg apart from an amputee without missing it?? Guaranteed...it always, always happens.
But it will have been "Yet another Shit Day In Africa" as they say!!
Have a similar sort of great day everyone!
Have a good day everyone*******************************

Interesting reading for anyone using Kazaa etc:
What is it?
W32/Bagle.az@MM is a Medium Risk mass-mailing worm that installs a Remote Access component that can provide hackers access to your computer. Carried inside an email attachment, the virus spreads by emailing itself to e-mail addresses found on your computer and copies itself to folders used by popular file-sharing programs such as KaZaa, Bearshare and Limewire. Like its predecessors, it also tries to terminate anti-virus and other security software protection.
Up-to-date McAfee VirusScan users with DAT 4395 are protected from this threat. Note: To fortify anti-virus defense against viruses that carry backdoor payloads, we recommend installing McAfee Personal Firewall Plus.
What should I look for?
FROM: Varies (spoofed)
SUBJECT: Re:, Re: Hello, Re: Thank you!, Re: Thanks :), Re: Hi
BODY: :), :))

How do I know if I've been infected?
Communication Port 81 (TCP) open. Outgoing messages with noted body content and attachments.
How do I find out more?

Was looking at timber, and some bloke in an orange overall came over to me and said 'do you want decking?'.
Fortunately, I got the first punch in.

Amber,
Let me guess how the conversation went in Lucindas.
"Ooooooooh Daaaaaaaarling. Can I get you a glass a wine? ....... Here, why don't you try this on? It's soooooooooooooooooooooooowwwww yoooooooooooouuuuuuuuw1. Not your colour? What about this? You'd look gorgeooooooooooouuuuuuuuus in this2. Mary3, don't you think that this is just sooooooooow...... I'm sorry, how rude of me. I've forgotten, what did you say your name was4? Oh? Well I wouldn't say that it quite looks like a sack of potatoes.5 We could get that altered for you .... at no charge6."
And so on.
1It's also 600.
2Unfortunately it's only 500.
3Mary Coughlan, the owner. Her old man's got a bakers shop or 20.
4I didn't!!
5As she grabs a chunk of fabric and pulls it in.
6If she's ripping you off 500, she wouldn't dare charge any extra for a 10 alteration.
Sound familiar?

hilary - sounds exactly like a shop in Oxford many years ago - Anna Belinda - where my wife bought her somewhat non-standard wedding dress, and various other clothes. Only half the price, but it was 25 years ago ;-(((
