Any ideas why a 10% drop in SP - looks like many small investors taking profits but am I missing something else ?

proptrade - 13 Sep 2004 12:58 - 150 of 249

i think it is a valuation issue...this is trading way way above its peers...

gordon geko - 13 Sep 2004 14:11 - 151 of 249

gordon geko - 16 Sep 2004 13:14 - 152 of 249

phillkay - 24 Sep 2004 10:41 - 155 of 249

Did this share realy go from 10p to over 1 in a matter of days or did something else happen? I heard something about "consolidation"?

gavdfc - 24 Sep 2004 10:50 - 156 of 249

There was a 100 for 1 consolidation I think.

phillkay - 27 Sep 2004 13:29 - 157 of 249

I was going to say!! that was a mad boat to miss if it wasn't!!

proptrade - 27 Sep 2004 14:05 - 158 of 249

nothing like a missed RNS to get the blood racing. it was a 100 for 1.

gordon geko - 30 Sep 2004 17:36 - 159 of 249

gordon geko - 04 Oct 2004 11:25 - 161 of 249

proptrade - 04 Oct 2004 12:08 - 162 of 249

we shall agree to disagree. i have been in this name at various time since the mid 90's and have a built my view around a management team that only disappoints.
i have never been one to pour water on a stock to rile other people but it is my heartfelt belief that een will drift.
if i am wrong then so be it.

hlyeo98 - 06 Oct 2004 16:50 - 163 of 249

LONDON (AFX) - Emerald Energy PLC said it has entered into a three-well contract with Parker Drilling Company International Ltd.

Beginning in November, the Campo Rico 2 and 3 wells will be drilled directionally from the site of the Campo Rico 1 well that has been on production since May.

The drilling rig will then drill the Vigia 1 exploration well on the Vigia prospect, 11 km from the producing Campo Rico field.

Alastair Beardsall, Emerald's chairman, said: 'The back-to-back drilling of these three new wells in the Campo Rico Block enables Emerald to save on the overall drilling costs and rapidly consolidate the drilling success achieved earlier in the year'.

AFX

LONDON (AFX) - Emerald Energy PLC has been awarded two new 'Technical Evaluation Agreements' in the Llanos Basin of Colombia, and will carry out technical studies to identify the presence of prospective exploration areas over a ten month period.

Throughout the term of each TEA, the company said it has the first right of refusal over any exploration and production contract proposed by a third party in the two areas. Emerald currently produces over 1800 barrels of oil per day in Colombia.

The Mantecal and Altamira Agreements, in which the company has a 100 pct working interest, cover areas of 1875 sq km and 2845 sq km respectively in the north of the Llanos Basin, Emerald said.
