Gold Oil - Is this Black Beauty ? (GOO)

moneyman - 19 Oct 2004 21:05

draw_chart.php?epic=goo&type=1&size=1&peGold Oil has just been floated on Aim and is involved in the exploration for oil in the Americas. The company has just signed an agreement with PetroPeru for exploration in the north of the country and also they have signed a memorandum of understanding with MAN Ferrostaal of Essen, Germany for the evaluation and feasibility study for a more than 200 mln stg petrochemical plant to be constructed in northern Peru.

Following the release of this news AFX commented that brokers believe this could potentially be huge for Gold Oil.

Again today, over 3.5 million buys, including one transaction 1.75 million, someone must know something, that's confidence!

lizard - 20 Oct 2005 12:45 - 151 of 271

good strategy sold 50% of business - less exposure to europe and 'operator' status for core business in peru.

lizard - 27 Oct 2005 13:41 - 152 of 271

a very encouraging update from the chairman- hope goo can realise its potential in 2006.

not that bothered about keeley resigning - due to personal reasons which i believe to be true all goo details still on his website tend to think if any bad feeling he would have cut off as soon as possible not left months after.

2006 massive year for goo-

WHAT DOES THEIR VAST ACREAGE HOLD?- gmoore reckons the acreage offers potential for 30yrs research and hopefully mass production.

lizard - 30 Dec 2005 15:26 - 156 of 271

it would be nice to see some positive press at the weekend!.

petedyke - 13 Jan 2006 17:09 - 164 of 271

From Daily Mail Market Report - Friday Close

Gold Oil was up 1.5p at 4.37p after revealing it is one step further in its quest to explore north-west Peru. It secured an operator certificate last year from Perupetro, and now hopes the government will give it the green light to drill for oil and gas in the area as early as next month. The company is 'actively sourcing equipment'.

lizard - 13 Jan 2006 20:42 - 165 of 271

good spot pd -i do hope goo gets something positive at the weekend in the press, it still lacks much media attention but perhpas this could sway this?.

a long way to go but a v positive step.

moneyman - 13 Jan 2006 22:21 - 166 of 271

This should now move to the 12-15p range. They have licences but they are also a stones throw away from being classified as an operator. With any new refinery and subsequent prices of commodities you can sit back and count the pounds.

lizard - 14 Jan 2006 11:53 - 167 of 271

a few mentions in the sat press guardian telegraph mail express- anyone seen any others?>

lizard - 16 Jan 2006 14:08 - 168 of 271
