Why are we again at 10.5p bid?
It doesn't add up...
Good Results + Strong buying pre results + Christmas online buying soon = Price drop
Then again some companies that have debt for equity hanging in the balance, poor results and bankruptcy around the corner and they go up!
Why sell now at a loss?
Wont that be a kick in the teeth when we see 13.5p 14p again!
Best of luck all.

Douggie you should stop smoking. You know what happened to Pinocchio after he turned green.
It will be a blue sky to-morrow.

From my memory of The Walt disney film 60 years ago he developed a long nose and big ears and Jimmy Cricket wasn't happy. But it is just a fading memory!

I thought the long nose was the result of telling lies,(I don't remember him being smoked) Big ears was Noddys friend, and being not happy was a trade mark of the Irish comic....'and there's more' ............ but I'm too tired now!
enjoy tomorrow

If this continues I think that we really will be hearing renewed rumours of an MBO. The share price really does not factor in the good news, even taking account of the threatened patent litigation.

sorry for being a dim wit.
i suppose mbo is management buy out.
how would that affect the regular shareholder? do you get given a price that you have to accept?

MBO was mooted in the press a few months ago (when the price was about 20p) -"directors dissatisfied" etc etc. I am not suggesting that shareholders will be particularly happy about this, even if the mbo price offers a reasonable premium on today's price as the majority probably bought at 20p+.

Having bought at 5p sold some and bought since then I would not like a management buy out. Rarely if ever do the pay the future market price, but who would like to hold a company with disatisfied management. I would think a price in advance of 25p would be accepted by many shareholders, but I think in the longterm future this will be seen as cheap.
Anybody worked out the value of the M&S deal.

I checked my records of RTD and find I initially bought at 21 p back in 2000 and sold half later at 21.99. Sold and bought many time since then. Buying at 21p, 5p, 5.18, 3.5p,3.74p 10. and 14.75p. Sold intermittemtly since the initial buy. My guess is that shorters are riding on this share as they have done so in the past and that the price will return to 16p 18p and 20p within the next 4-6weeks. Dependent then on further contract updates it will either stagnate for a while or pursue upwards to 22-25p. IMO and guess.

Apologies I thought it was too good. I think I put the date instead of the price. What a shame. I bought on the 12/1/00 at 22.08 and sold at 3.10 on the 22/3/00.(Still lucky and good return of over 40k) (I think from memory the was a share dilution sometime around then which might alter my records.) All I know I paid a hell of a lot to much tax that year followed by a disastrous dealing period for about 12-18mths.)
Still recovering from that period.
