Headline Trading Statement

HOST EUROPE PLC
Pre-Close Trading Update
Host Europe plc, the internet hosting provider, today issues the
following pre-close trading update to provide an overview of its trading
for the year ending 31 December 2003.
At its AGM in August 2003 the Company stated that it was continuing to trade strongly and was seeing significant new customer acquisition. The interim results published in September showed turnover of 8.2m for the six months to 30 June 2003 and Chief Executive Abby Hardoon stated that the Company was confident of continued growth through the remainder of 2003.
This expectation has been borne out and the Board expects Group turnover for the year to 31 December 2003 to exceed that for 2002 by approximately 24%. Both the UK and German businesses have shown good sales order growth across the product range in the second half of 2003 and a healthy year end sales pipeline should ensure good turnover levels in January 2004.
The Board has continued with its commitment to review and control costs in the second half of 2003 and is therefore confident that the Group's EBITDA performance for the year, before exceptionals, will be in line with, or better than, expectations previously published by the Companys broker.
As stated in the interim results announcement the exceptional Board reorganisation costs of 777,000 reported in the first half represent the full cost for the year. The business has continued to show strong cash generation throughout the second half of 2003.
The Board is optimistic about the outlook for 2004. We are seeing continuing demand for hosting services in the UK and Germany and the company now has the infrastructure and staff in place to exploit this market opportunity.

Yes from what i understand it was one of their recommendations some time back. It was good today to see people buying the dips and fully expect this to continue.
Will be adding shortly myself.

Hi,
Sorry, jumped accross from elsewhere. Been holding these for quite some time. Day traders have just jumped onto HER and are in the middle of a feeding frenzy. It's the end of year results for her next month and her have released an rns basically stating that they've beaten market expectations. Ramping and feeding by day traders has forced this share up to a high that may or may not be sustainable when results come out next month. Either way, it looks like any decent increase on last year's results will now be just about priced in.

ender I think that you have sold and are trying to get in at a lower price. Very naughty ! Do the calculations yourself and see what you come up with. Infact post them here so we can all see.
Notable constant gainers over five days include Host Europe, which has put on 34.5% to 2.59p. In its pre-close full year trading update on 20 January it said it was continuing to trade strongly and seeing significant new customers coming on board. The company said it expects turnover for the year to December 2003 to exceed that for 2002 by approximately 24%. Both the UK and German businesses have shown good sales order growth, it added, expressing optimism about the outlook for 2004.

I think HER is heading north at speed. Check out the October 03 in house broker report on HERs own website. We've had no adverse news since it was posted and then they reckoned a reasonable valuation for the company was 5.3p a share! I bought back in at 1.815 and reckon I'm looking at a triple bagger plus within the next 6 months. I will probably buy more under 3p if I can free up some cash. Why is cash always the problem?
