US view on ITIS and Trafficmaster

platform1 - 29 Jul 2004 08:10

This from the US is doing the rounds and pulls no punches. I got it from AOL last night.

heremoney US 7/28/04

Take a look at ITIS holdings [ ITH ] and Trafficmaster [ TFC ] on the London Stock Exchange. A duff report called the ICC report commissioned by competitor company Trafficmaster bought the ITIS share price down substantially. ITIS have technology called Estimotion that can be quickly installed to any major city in the developed world and is soon to make its debut in Europe. It is all the rage over there. It conveys traffic data to a data base via the mobil phone net work which is then used to alert drivers to traffic problems and give route directions via satellite into car or to hand held satellite navigation units. [ Hand held satellite navigation is all the rage in Japan and Far East and will soon be hitting the US and European markets ]. ITIS have also beat Trafficmaster in a road test set by the prestigious Times of London.

Further Interest is also generated because Trafficmaster price sensitive news releases have been leaked on chat rooms and bulletin boards to the extent some have had to be closed down by the British government.

It is an interesting situation without twists and turns. The out come looks a fire cracker restoration of the ITIS share price from the duff report and a value reflecting the technology. For the other company Trafficmaster a nose dive in the share price and possible suspension from the London Stock Exchange.

Do you know why Martel is leaving?

because he's been ripping off share holders for 16 years and has been rumbled.
