Vicorp wins new contract in Thailand
Vicorp wins new contract in Thailand
Vicorp, a provider of service creation software has announced its latest contract win in Thailand. Advanced Info Service, a mobile network service in the country has chosen Vicorp's xMP service software to provide voice mail and interactive speech services to its customers. AIS is an affiliate of Shin Corporation and claims to be a leader in mobile innovation services.
Vicorp joined Ofex in 2004 and has since gained the attention of major software giants like Nortel, Cisco and Microsoft, all of whom have chosen to become partners in outsourcing deals. Vicorp has two main products - xMP and Narrator. Both are keyed towards automating call centre processes and allow users to pre-program an automated customer helpline. The software is highly intuitive and accessible to business of all sizes. The software is said to be unmatched in the market. In the year to December 2005, the group recorded revenues of 1.34 million and losses of 1.96 million. Trading in the current year is said to be in line with budgets and the group is expected to break even in 2006.
In July the group raised 595,000 to provide additional working capital. Vicorp is expecting to make a move to AIM by the year end, it owns an established portfolio of products and is set to offer additional services which should push revenues even higher. As we've said before, we rarely back a consistently loss making company but Vicorp is showing signs of promise. At 55p, capitalised at 5.11 million, the shares are a speculative buy.

Contract - Faber Lotto-Service KG
London, 10th August 2006:
Vicorp, the leading provider of Service Creation Software technologies, today announced that FABER Lotto-Service KG, one of the largest Lottery operators in Germany, has selected Vicorp's xMP Service Creation Environment software to provide and drive a telephone based gaming system.
The concept of moving to a Service Creation Environment (SCE) with Vicorp's xMP tool allows Faber Lotto-Service KG to rapidly develop and dynamically manipulate new services to any of Faber's 22 million customers and to play games on the move over the phone. There needs to be a stimulation of the types of games with a continued exchange of options for Faber's customers to keep their interest. The decision to work within a SCE environment drives this activity.
Vicorp's xMP suite allows major organisations to quickly create, deploy and manage a range of high-quality voice self-services. Core services can be built once but deployed many times. Any single service can be configured to support multiple brands, thus reducing cost and time-to-market for automated services.
Automated voice services free up time on routine transactions and allow customer service staff to spend more time handling complex interactions directly with customers.
Brendan Treacy, Vicorp's CEO said: " The market for online gaming is in rapid growth, according to some analysts this market is set to double over the next 4 years. Forward thinking companies such as FABER are cashing in on the fact that more consumers have access to a mobile phone than the Internet and by providing fun interactive games over the phone they can maximise on a relatively untapped channel".
The Directors accept responsibility for the contents of this announcement.
