Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

Euro boost apparently.....it won't have any effect I bet....there are too many taxes in Europe now and that includes the UK......if governments want economies to prosper : they have to cut taxes that encourage people to work !......

Same old right wing rhetoric, if you want people to work then you put the wages and conditions up.

If it's all right for people at the top to claim they need an incentive then why not all within the organisation and those not working? Nothing to do with left at all.

Many businesses are run on the basis of paying the lowest wages possible. There is not much that can be done about it, especially if the job is unskilled.

Exactly, low wage Rip-off Britain set up by your "Con" artists in the 80's maintained by Tory Blair in the 90's and so on, and yes there is a lot that we can do about it.

stan - before you berate uk businesses, just check out where most of all the extra jobs are going in US

Listen to Boris - he makes a lot of sense to me .......
I have thought we should be out for years, as worked with EU on Aid Projects and was paid very well, but did not get half as much as the EU delegates themselves.

We will be far better off out. Give me some good arguments why we should stay in.

I invite anybody to try and convince me to vote to stay in.

Of course it will not be easy initially, and may take us a couple of years to get our EU shackles off, but given say 3 or 4 years we will prosper more than those remaining in. If we leave, it may only be a matter of time before Greece leaves and maybe Italy. Maybe France and Germany are now secretly wishing they were not in any more.

We should show GUTS and start this ball rolling.

In about 2-3 yrs time, the wholeof the EU will be wanting to join up with us and form a new and much enlarged United Kingdom and create the United Kingdom of Europe.

Nothing but nothing could convince me to vote in ,i have wanted out since the 90's and now 10 times more ...

What about the french aircraft carrier which we can borrow on the odd occasion? Presumbly that cosy arrangement will come to an end? Or is that a NATO agreement?

Fred I believe you are for staying in perhaps you can give an argument for staying, it would help give some balance as most on here seem to be Leavers. Serious question Fred.
