Surf the internet indeed. First time on since I arrived at work at 09:00. Not picked the Derby winner yet, will have a wander over the betting shop later.

Socrates - 07 Jun 2003 14:27 - 1503 of 23498

Just got back from some trolley racing. I went fishing this morning and got a bite. Not quite sure what it was but it may have been a Lesser Spotted IT Banker!

Left home at 25, hum. Not quite HT. 22 years in the RAF is a funny occupation for a conchy isn't it? LOL. Perhaps that's why they didn't let me sign up long term.

little willie - 07 Jun 2003 19:21 - 1507 of 23498

Anybody out there, can't get in touch with daughter & partner, probably three sheets on champers at Epsom, not answering phone and can't find the derby result on internet so don't know if I should be drinking cider, wine or champs.
Did Brian Boru earn his corn? I watched Scotland narrowly lose to SA, undeservedly imho, then watched golf masters from uk but no mention of the derby, help!!!!lw

hilary - 08 Jun 2003 10:46 - 1511 of 23498

Socs,

You have mail. See if you can spot the deliberate mistake in the 3rd para.

:-)

Socrates - 08 Jun 2003 21:44 - 1512 of 23498

Hilary
I didn't spot it I must admit, but it was a case of you read what you expect to see. I've been looking at charts all afternoon, looking at stochs and MACD's. Isn't it fun, not, but necessary to get used to the patterns. Makes me shudder when I look at my portfolio.

Hightone
I couldn't find any information on HIC, are you sure you have the right epic?

Ancient Hose!

little willie - 10 Jun 2003 09:09 - 1514 of 23498

HT Haven't heard from them but expect to tonight, after Epsom they flew to Scotland for a 'bit of a do' and are due back this a.m..... BUT...........
I backed Brian Boru [your other selection] which Jeffers intimated is still running? Was it a pi** take from him, I doubt it 'cos he's a banker?

Lovely winters day here [6 months ahead equivalent so 9th Dec.], mrs.lw did her 10k run at 7.30 when it was crunchy underfoot, now a beautiful clear day, temp already over 24 degrs. and rising, they say it will be 28degrs. later.
Yesterday spent day by the pool, shorts only job, reading up on bridge.
Used to play a bit 7 or 8 yrs ago and have friends here who are like minded but not the 'serious bridge types'.

Today is ladies day on the course so I shall go fly fishing up in the mountains
as I think the market will be subdued, again*.
*apart that is from ATL, you beauty......lw

Hello Jeff and Hightone. I've been busy tonight, looking at charts by the dozen. Trying to work out what to buy next, Wiggins? LOL

Quite a bit of choice but I'm tracking some that I selected using my understanding of TA to see how successful and accurate I am. I can't go on relying on all you nice cafe people for ever, I've got to learn to stand on my own two feet, as it were.

I'm off for my beauty sleep now, you never know, it might work.
[:-)

PS Where's that Vasey lady, her favourite DYS is on the up. I'm actually in profit with it.
