rather than pick out individual stocks to trade, it can often be worthwhile to trade the indices themselves, especially in times of high volatility.

Getting trounced on the Insurers again today, but just closed an intraday long on PHNX +80 - which helps.

I'm slightly down today, FTSE -26pts currently, EUR/GBP -15 pts... Not the end of the world, didn't really want to carry anything over buy think I probably will.

Small short FTSE @6,545.

DOW preparing to challenge its all time high @16,588.25 hit on 31st December last year.

Closed short @6639 and now long.

Closed +10.5.

Looking quite positive 13ma turning up - look at the previous times it has done so.

Anyone know the rule on buying back Aim shares sold at a profit today , is it that you can't buy back for 30 days . ???
