brockman - 30 Sep 2004 10:29 - 15026 of 23498

It can get a little close down in that cellar Bun... sometimes :o)

jeffmack - 30 Sep 2004 10:32 - 15027 of 23498

Reminds me of the time we had a visitor from an Icelandic Bank with us for a week. She was quite keen on some packets of fishy snacks. About a week after she left we started to get some strange smells in the office (not the guiness). We tracked it down to one of the heater units and we found she had dropped the contents of one of the packets down the back and the heat was causing a bit of a stink

brockman - 30 Sep 2004 10:34 - 15028 of 23498

You must of made quite an impression Jeffers to get the prawns in the curtain pole treatment :o) You never said if she came back :o))))

jeffmack - 30 Sep 2004 10:39 - 15029 of 23498

We need the footsie to drop 10 or 14 for Golddog or DD to take the yellow jersey in the FTSE Competition

snoball - 30 Sep 2004 10:40 - 15030 of 23498

I'll talk to someone jeff.

stockbunny - 30 Sep 2004 10:59 - 15031 of 23498

Morning Jeff and Snowie,
Whilst you're there asking for favours Snowie, mention my premium
bonds would you, first of the month tomorrow so a new draw - Ta!

So hows the salt-mine today Jeff?

This_is_me - 30 Sep 2004 11:26 - 15032 of 23498

I was left in charge of the washing machine but it looks like the drain pump has packed up. Am I in trouble?

Fundamentalist - 30 Sep 2004 11:42 - 15033 of 23498

Jeff - how do you work that out - DD is 150 points away!!! Stormy looks the closest

TIM - big trouble i would guess

snoball - 30 Sep 2004 12:31 - 15034 of 23498

T_i_m, just empty it with a bucket or syphon it out with a hose. You know like one does when nicking petrol from cars.

Stockbunny - sorted.

jeffmack - 30 Sep 2004 12:38 - 15035 of 23498

Fundy
LOL, would you trust me with your money

optomistic - 30 Sep 2004 13:21 - 15036 of 23498

T.I.M.
Remove the rear plate off the washer, remove pump (two electrical connectors and two jubilee clips that hold the imput and output pipe to the pump) Down to the trade supplies store, new pump, fit it and really impress the good lady. Don't forget to turn off the power!!

stockbunny - 30 Sep 2004 13:28 - 15037 of 23498

LOL Snowie - it's an interesting thought that I'm 'sorted' ;>)

Opto - now that is impressive, bound to win several Scout points too
T-I-M if you do it - and of course put it all back together in the
right order and it still works ;>)

Are you sure its not just the filter screwed up and blocked and thats why
it wont pump the water out? Mind you it will depend on whether you can
access the filter to clear it and as mentioned before drain the machine
manually first cos it holds mega gallons of water! If you've got an LG
you can get to the filter on the washer/dryers very easily to unblock it.

Ok who wants lunch?

Fundamentalist - 30 Sep 2004 13:36 - 15038 of 23498

Lunch sounds good bunny

Jeff - no !!! never !!! just confirms my thoughts after your MT. pick in the game

stockbunny - 30 Sep 2004 13:46 - 15039 of 23498

Ok what do we have....
Steak (still twitching, light brown or cremated) jacket potatoes and salad
chaps - no fries on the menu today - don't moan think healthy!!!

Tuna steak in red wine sauce (hey I'm cooking so I can put a favourite
of mine on the menu!) with horseradish mash and baby veggies.

I think we have also got some seafood pasta left in the fridge
and the usual trifle a-la Socs, chocolate gateaux and fruit salad.

As the game finishes tomorrow I suppose I had better get back into the
kitchens as of next week, cos Poochy says the temp. is proving too expensive.

jeffmack - 30 Sep 2004 13:50 - 15040 of 23498

Is this not good then fundy....
