Just logged in to find EDD up 16p to 85p = +24%, I expected a decent increase, but this is great and a well deserved re-rating.

Still very strong after excellent Interims on on Tuesday ahead of expectations, and a repeat buy in Investors Chronicle today which says that EDD may now be attracting some larger institutional investors now.

Looking at todays volumes they could be right, 3 million buys against 45K sell, with a persistant buyer at 111p.

spitfire43 - 13 Jul 2009 19:17 - 158 of 161

Education Development International chief executive Nigel Snook has purchased another 5200 shares in the company.

He now has an interest in 3,114,437 shares in the company, representing approximately 5.4% of the total voting rights.

It may only be a very small purchase by ceo standard, but it shows how he views the sp at the moment.
