Haven't seen any press coverage this weekend but that is not too surprising, the press 'experts' will not want to say too much before tomorrows results - they may have a lot to say in Tuesdays press!?

Personally, I'm glad the press have been quiet!!
It might make tomorrows market a more accurate picture of the markets analysis of results and forecasts rather than distorting them through rumour and tip.
Just a thought.

GOODEVENING ALL - CAPTAIN GUIDE REPORTING from base. copied from another thread
Stanelco flight's GreenSeal Radio Frequency Technologies has now narrowed into Walmart and will help it meet sustainability objectives. Walmart's 4th quarter earnings were up 13.4%, however its stock slipped as revenue fell short of Wall street projections. To meet its objectives, walmart have identified SEO's Biodegradable packaging technologies and is all set to board SEO flight.
Wal-Mart accounts for 10 percent of the U.S. retail economy, 15 percent to 16 percent of all groceries sold, 25 percent of health and beauty products and a quarter of all toys.
Is it only Walmart on board!! well no!! watch this space.
Fellow passengers, we have the great EK and his friends on board. exciting days/weeks ahead.
The big question, do we takeoff at R20, R25, R30 or wait for 3months and take off at R100..i would wait to takeoff at R100.
Goodday tomorrow..avoid the checkin desk jam to board the flight at 2.30pm.
goodluck all.
SEO flight will takeoff and will reach heights soon

Admit to a wee bit of concern re figures tomorrow because indications are that ASDA has been slow and the market could react negatively. It has been argued that this was the reason for statement re Wal-Mart. andysmith could be right is suspecting a bit of initial reaction to statement. I know I'll be up early to check.

I haven't seen any evidence as yet that ASDA has been slow. I'm not sure where that is coming from or why it keeps cropping up. Does anyone have any information to show that Stanelco won't meet the 200 target?

It has been said, though I have not found anything to substantiate it, that news of the Wal-Mart link was leaked in the USA, which forced an early RNS here. I think we are all aware that results will be duff, could be wrong of course!! just what will SEO have in the pipeline though?! They must be flat out working on new ideas, why open a new R & D unit if not? It HAS to be good for all from here on!!! This is not a ramp, just the views of a loyal shareholder since 2003!

No info on the 200 target Biscuit, not until tomorrow anyway; if there has been a hold up I'm sure it had something to do with the overdiscussed, overlengthy and finally over, court case!!

Market expectations are a loss of around 2m to 2.25m, so provided we are within 10% of these levels, then results are in line and will not cause any concern unless for some strange reason people were not expecting a loss of around 2.25m. With EK gone long on Friday, it will not be attracting many shorters first thing on results, so without any market shocks and a loss as expected in the region of 2.25m, then it should be going up this coming week on the progress update and outlook statements.

Well, no results yet. Looks like some of the media got it wrong, no doubt tomorrow for release.

It's been suggested that the results may still be today, release time at 1430 hrs to coincide with the Dow opening, re Walmart. I hope I am wrong but I can't see it myself. I think the impact on the Seo/Walmart deal would have to show huge figures, in the results to justify the decision.
But they may already have firm figures re the deal. If they have, a vast amount of work, figure wise has already been completed.
As said hope I am wrong as at 0700hrs on Tues I will be at about 50,000 feet, somewhere above Africa. ( Nice if Seo's share price joins me at that altitude ).

Captain Guide (not that I've any time for an arse like that) seemed certain of a 2:30 release, but I cannot see any point in that regardless of what the results contain.

if the information contains wal-mart related news then the relese would have to be simultaneously, otherwise invetors who are already trading would have an advantage over the us.

AGM and finals are tomorrow for sure. Apparently the loss of 2.1M is spot on, but no real movement with actual orders etc. Its going to be another 'future' speech from Howard!
Sharesure, I have heard similar talk Re: Mcdonalds for this week, but it wont be mentioned in the results. However I bet it'll be delayed a tad-always seems the way!

Morning, ssanebs,
Not always, unless it will have a significant effect on the other companies shares, ( ie Walmart ) and without figures, it will have very little if any effect on a company as huge as Walmart. There are many instances of news being released where a company has a deal in the offering, ( without figures ) that are not released simultaneously by the other company, if at all. ( re the news on Friday, this was not released by Walmart, only by Seo ( unless i missed it ). As said if there are figures re any deal in the results then yes, I would agree with you, but I don't think there will be. Also as said, I hope I am wrong.

How do you know that the loss will be 2.1m and that there is no real movement with actual orders (I assume you mean Greenseal and Starpol). Where do you get your info from that you base your statement on?
